Have an ancient in wall air conditioner - 220 [ like a dryer plug in ] . Costs a fortune to run and I want to replace it with a smaller - newer unit that is 110 . Can the wall outlet be changed down to a 110 without a lot of trouble ? The area I am trying to cool is like a small studio apartment in Sacramento , Ca .

Does DMV issue a drivers license to people that have had two strokes or are there restrictions ? Someone i am close to is going to buy a car so he can get his license back after taking classes and will have an alcohol blow machine in the car because of DUI's . He has had 2 not too serious strokes in the last year and i am wondering if he will be able to get a driver's license . DMV had mentioned to him when he got his id card that they were aware of the stroke but did not say any more about it .He is in his 50's . Living in Arizona .

2001 Saturn L200 76,000 miles [ runs great ! ] failed smog in California . repair shop said Cat. Converter bad and put on after market converter - failed again so they put on factory - still failed . Shop got it to barely pass but failed all tests after wards . Took it to dealer shop to find out problem and they have had it over a month and can not figure out whats wrong . Is now failing smog worse [ nox failure - everything else passes ] Discovered paperwork that in 2008 the timing chain was replaced [ recalled ] on my car . They think that maybe it was not put on correctly and timing is off causing the smog problem . HELP PLEASE ! Were the cat . converters necessary ? They did not fix the problem and were very expensive . Could the timing chain be causing the problem ? Feels like no one knows and it is very frustrating .

husband left state & was caught & returned 30 days later . Max.sentence end date was may 30, 2011. Now say he will be released Oct. 28, 2011 . No new charges were added . [ ? ]

worked fine for short while then while off an acrid smell and black smoke! inside in front of battery is now a melted mess of coiled black cablewire. is it worth the cost t fix it ? if i can get the parts . what other damage do i most likely have ? thank you
