DISCLAIMER: I am new to the whole fish scene and have very little knowledge about proper maintenance aside from gravel vacuums. I have a 10 gallon tank and a few basic fish.

I went on vacation for 2 months and my friend was supposed to watch my fish for me. She fed them daily but for some reason never changed the filter and didn't use any of the ammonia and algae control chemical thingies I bought... I get back and my fish tank is disgusting... there is gross black/green stuff all over the tank walls, plant things and gravel.

I used my gravel vacuum and cleaned up as much as I could (30% water change) and added some of the ammonia reducer (it smelled awful and from my understanding that's ammonia build up) and some algae reducer/growth control.

My question is how do I *SAFELY* clean my tank properly? The gravel is significantly better but the tank walls + plants/ornaments are pretty gross. I was thinking about buying one of those magnetic wall cleaners is that a good idea? and I remember reading that you should never clean out an entire tank (remove fish, clean gravel, plants, etc) is this true?

I need ideas about what threatens the survival of either the United States or Canada and whether it exists in the other country or not. (I can explain whether federalism exacerbates or reduces the threat).

Does federalism threaten to break-up multinational states? In addressing this question focus on the United States and Canada. Both of these states have federal systems of government but are quite different in the powers that they allocate to national governments and provincial/state governments. Identify a threat to the survival of either Canada or the United States and tell us how federalism has played a role in subduing or exacerbating this threat. In addressing any threat to the state that you have chosen, tell us whether the threat exists in the other state and if not, tell us why. For example, you might consider addressing the push for sovereignty in Quebec and the role that federalism has played in enfranchising or subduing pro-sovereignty forces. If you address this issue, tell us why a similar problem does not exist in the United States (why haven’t Florida, Texas or New York threatened to secede).

What reasons would influence the church to take an interest in controlling marriage rituals in the middle ages? how did this influence the emergence of romantic love in the 12th century?

This question is going to be on a test im taking next week. I just want other people's opinions in order to write a more comprehensive essay on it next week.

So that everyone doesnt believe im just freeloading off YA and trying to get other people to do my homework, my personal answer as of yet, for the question follows.

In taking over the marriage institution, the church ensured that they had full control over one of the most important aspects of society at the time. by taking over the jurisdiction of marriage, the church could ensure that they had significant control over the families and lives of those who engaged in a religious ceremony. by making marriage canon law, couples could not divorce which ensured a form of monogamy among the people involved.

I'm having some friends over tomorrow night and I have a slushy maker and the following ingredients:

bacardi, kahlua, irish cream and sangria mix as well as assorted juices.

I'm interested in using my slushy machine for the first time, any drink recipes that involve any above the ingredients (plus some easy to find ones) that you think would go well in a slushy machine (pretty much - add liquids + ice)?
