I'm a vet tech that is owned by multiple French Bulldogs and a Belgian Malinois. One of my Frenchies and my Malinois were rescues, the other Frenchies are AKC conformation show dogs. I also have a 5000g freshwater pond, a 75g freshwater planted tank, a 40g mixed reef tank, a 9g mixed reef tank, and 6 crested geckos. :)

  • How long would it take?

I am thinking about getting a tattoo on my inner ankle (in between the bottom of my foot and the joint of the ankle) and I was curious to know how long it would take to get it done. It would only be about 2 inches across and 2 inches high, and would be solid purple with a little bit of blue and pink accents. Also is that a spot that will really hurt? About how much should I expect to spend?

  • Is it strep?

I have a sore throat that came on all of the sudden this afternoon. I am really not feeling all that bad, except for the soreness, pain swallowing, a little tiredness, and the feeling that their is a ball of mucus in my throat. I looked at it with a mirror and a flashlight, and it looked fine except for a patch on each side that was very red. Temperature is normal, and I have had my tonsils removed (if it matters). Are these symptoms of strep? What else could it be?

  • Seller rights?

I sold a puppy to a lady and when she took it to her vet they said that the puppy has a minor defect that is common for the breed but still needs to be repaired. She called me 6 days after she purchased him to tell me that she finally took the puppy to the vet and that he had the problem (I told her that the puppy should be seen by a veterinarian in the next 4 days, but she waited longer than that), and demanding that I pay for the surgery to repair it, but she refused both options. The puppy had been checked by my veterinarian 3 times before he was sold, and my vet says that he does not have the problem that the lady said that he has. I have offered to have her bring the puppy to my vet and have him do the surgery (at no charge) or to return him for her money back. Do you think that this is reasonalble? Do I have any other rights? I have been extremely nice to this lady and she has been extremely nasty to me, and I really feel that she is trying to con me out of the puppy.

  • Has anyone had experience with VPI pet insurance?

I am thinking about getting VPI pet insurance for my dogs just in case of an emergency, but I am wanting more information. I am mainly wanting to know if anyone has any experience with it, and if you liked it (and why or why not). Any other information will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

  • Does anyone know where I can get a Sphynx for free?

I have a medical condition that causes me to have extreme pain and tightness in the muscles of my neck, and I have a good friend of mine with the same condition that has one that she trained to lay on her neck at night and she said that it has worked wonders. But, due to my medical bills, I cannot afford to pay for the high prices for one. If you know anyone that has an adult available located in KS or MO please let me know. Thanks.

Also, my vet has agreed to donate all medical services and premium cat food at no charge, so the cat will recieve great care.
