I'm almost 19. Which means I'm almost not a teenage girl anymore. Which is EPIC WIN. I'm almost, almost twenty.

  • does anyone know the sex ed movie?

I can't remember the title. It wasn't a really dorky one. It was about a girl who played the cello and she was a freshman (??). The senior guy asked her to his house and wanted to have sex with her but she was all no and he was like leave and then she gave him a ******* instead and got something from him. A lot of people ended up with that STD (probably herpes, might've been something else). The mom was trying to find out who was responsive and why it had happen. I think the girl might have been ostracized and stuff too.

At one point the mom had the line "My daughter is not a slut" when talking to another mom that was all like, well she did that STD and come on...

  • Does anyone have any photos of haircuts that look like Rapunzel's?

[SPOILER ALERT] might want to avoid clicking the links if you haven't seen the movie....

    http://s3.amazonaws.com/data.tumblr.com/tumblr_lcr...

    http://images4.fanpop.com/image/polls/587000/58714...

Saw the movie, loved it, now I want to get my hair cut short.

    http://s3.amazonaws.com/data.tumblr.com/tumblr_ldt...

    That is my hair now.

I'm thinking about getting it cut. I've had short hair before and I'm pretty comfortable with chopping it off. But I haven't been able to find great photos/fan art from the movie yet and I kinda don't want to show the hair dresser a picture of a children's cartoon.

So, anyone able to find photos that look like Rapunzel's hair at the end of the movie?

    thank you!!

  • How does one go about contacting transgender people about their experiences?

I'm currently doing my NaNoWriMo novel (national novel writing moth, 50,000 words in 30 days) on one of my characters, Stef. Stef is a FTM, growing up in Small Town, Nebraska.

I've been doing a lot of research about FTM transgenders for the project. I'd like to talk to someone who is transgender (ideally FTM for the purposes of the novel), but I feel weird bringing up the subject. But I'm telling the story in first person and since I'm a cisgendered girl, it's hard to figure out what Stef's reactions, thoughts, and feelings would be in certain situations. So I'd like to talk to a transman about those things.

Only thing is, I'm not quite sure how to bring it up or suggest it. Especially because it's a NaNo novel and those tend to come off as large, badly written things. I'm not a bad writer, but I don't really have any writing uploaded to Deviant Art. I have done a lot of research on relating issues, but there's somethings that are hard to find or don't exist. Like what goes on in therapy, what an intense dysphoric moment feels like, etc.

So basically, if you are transgender, how would like to be approached? What are some things to steer clear? I'm probably going to be doing this via Deviant Art. So journal entry? Excepts of story and/or art, with an explanation in the description and a plea for someone to answer my questions?

    Thank you!

  • Does anyone know the Harry/Draco fanfic?

Draco's in a Quidditch accident. It's the one time he catches the Snitch before Harry and he flies into a pole and ends up blind. Later Harry breaks the little floating globe that Draco uses to find his way around and then ends up helping Draco around. Well eventually Harry freaks out because he's crushing on Draco and Draco's miserable but he's not sure who the person is, he's just unhappy. And at the end they become a couple and yeah, average slash.

I know that it's decent length. Good quality. and complete. Probably on FF.net.

Yeah. Ten points and much gratitude to the person with the link.

  • Any one know any good 18+ clubs in SF?

Me and my friends are thinking about heading down to San Francisco in the summer. And we want to go to at least one club. I can't find a good site that clearly lists all of the 18+ clubs in SF.

We'd like to go to a gay/lesbian one if at all possible. None of us are over 21.

    thank you!!

  • What color would the offspring of these horses be?

    Larduc

http://www.stallions.co.uk/stallion_23655.html (Grey, but he looks "white")

    (this is Larduc's sire http://www.luxesporthorses.com/images/marduc_big.j... )

Now, if Larduc was bred to a black mare, or a mare that's a very dark bay or something that looks like black, is there any chance the offspring could eventually look like Larduc?

(A lot of the mares by Marduc are the "white" grey color, along with a palimino)

Dunno if that helps any, but is it possible to get a "white" foal out of Larduc/Black mare?

  • I don't remember the name of the book or author?

It's a story that takes place in England. It's about this couple. Their son. And his son. The wife is extremely cold and forceful. Her husband is gay. The son is dysfunctional and it's not told in linear fashion so I'm not sure how the grandson happens.

There's a black dog in the book. The son gets sent off to a boarding school.

The grandson ends up with his grandparents. He's eventually send away after the wife discovers him with a dead chicken. She thinks he killed it. And he didn't he was trying to save it?

Anyway, the author is a woman and this was the last book she wrote before she died. She too had black labs.

  • What's a French last name that sounds like Le Fay?

I need a last name that sounds like Le Fay (as in Morgaine/Morgan/Morgana le Fay/Le Fay/the Fay) but is spelled different. Ideally French because they have a great deal of silent letters. It can be one word or two. It doesn't actually have to be a last name you could just make it up with the help of a French dictionary. I would like links and I will award ten points to the answer with the best last name.

    Thank you!

What's the cheapest place in the Chico, CA area to get your hair dyed?

I need it to be about this red (http://www.bebe.com/Fragrance-GIFTS-Products/b/675... for Halloween.

Catch: I'm starving college student and the absolute top price is $30. $15 would be ideal.

  • How much does it cost to dye your hair at a Sally Beauty Supply store?

I plan to dye my hair red for Halloween. I have dark-to-medium brown hair and I want it to be a pretty brilliant red for my costume (Poison Ivy from the Batman comics).

The catch: I'm a starving college student. The most I could possibly do is $30 and that's ... a bit much.

So yeah, how much does it cost to get one's hair dyed at Sally's?

(This is the color I want it to be: http://www.bebe.com/Fragrance-GIFTS-Products/b/675...

I read a lot of online reviews of the place and it looks super cool. I'm just not sure how much it's going to cost. One of the places said "moderate" but I'm not sure how much that it. It's one of the best places in town.

Barring that how much do bellybutton peircings generally cost?

  • Can you use hydrogen peroxide to bleach hair?

Can you use hydrogen peroxide (3% H2O2) to bleach small sections of hair? I mean, I've heard of using peroxide to bleach hair, but I'm wondering if hydrogen peroxide will work. Just for some minor stuff, like annoying black hairs near my belly button...

So can I use Hydrogen Peroxide or should I just go out and actually buy something just for this...?

    Thank you!

  • Why do right-wing people pay more attention to gays/lesbians than they do to bisexuals?

I just watched this news clip where Sally Kern blamed gays and lesbians for America's economic collapse/death spiral. But she doesn't say anything about bisexuals. What's up with that? Do conservatives like her just not know about bisexuals? Do they find bi people -less- offensive than gays/lesbians or do we irritate them more because we like both sexes? Or do bisexuals just confuse the heck out of right-wingers like Sally Kern?

  • What type of strapless bra would work best for me?

I have an extremely small ribcage and large boobs. Technically, I am a 28D, however I wear 32C because it's hard to find 28D bras.

I own one strapless bra. It is evil and misshapen. I hate it and the feeling is mutual. It always slips down and never stays up, it's uncomfortable too.

What type of strapless bra might work better?

  • Why can't I find a link to the fanfic "If You've A Ready Mind"?

I've been searching the internet for it and all the links I've found don't work. It's really annoying because I've read the fic before and really want to read it again.

Anyone know where I can find it or, failing that, why I can't find it?

  • Exactly what color is this horse?

    http://www.pintowarmblood.com/images/Fiji.jpg

I can't figure out if the mare is grey, a blue roan, a roan, or just weird.

All the blue roans I've seen are darker and are more "cool" colored. This horse almost seems to have more of a chestnut undertone (more brown than blue). But she doesn't look like a red roan either.Or a gray.

    So, what is she?

  • Why are haunted houses always Victorian?

I don't mean the "real" haunted houses, those tend to be any house in which someone has died.

But I'm wondering why the stereotypical haunted house is always a Victorian house. Why is the Victorian house (the Italianate style in particular) so closely associated with being haunted that it's the the only type of house that comes up when you Google Images "Haunted House."

I'd like to know just how this came about and why, if at all possible. It's pretty embedded in our cultural. http://www.atl-estates.com/victorian.jpg , to the point where this innocent Victorian house could pass as haunted if you broke the windows and gave it a really bad coat of brown paint.

So, why the Victorian house? What about it makes it the universal "haunted house" ?

    Thank you!

  • Information on serial killers/murders?

I'm writing a short story in which the main character's immediate family is gruesomely murdered and she goes to live with the aunt she never knew she had.

The only problem is that I'm not quite sure what the murder would be called. It's not just a regular murder (searches for that center around husbands killing their wives). But even though 3 people die, the killer isn't a true serial killer.

In the story, the killer killed the main character's mother, father, and younger sister. He tied up, beat, and tormented the main character. In the trial he pleads not guilty (because if he plead guilty then the trial would end right?) and the jury unanimously (or with one not-guilty vote) finds him guilty.

So, I'd either a name for this type of murder. Similar instances/trials would be great. Websites that have useful information are appreciated.

  • Where to find a Takeshita Yoshie volleyball jersey?

I'd like to purchase a Takeshita Yoshie volleyball jersey, but I can't find a place. I searched online, but I keep getting stuff about her and New Jersey people.

I don't want to own her actual jersey. Just a copy, like the ones you'd buy of basketball players. It's not their own jersey that they play in, but it still says Kobe Bryant or whatever.

I really admire because she's my height and is playing Olympic volleyball. And she's a setter, which is my favorite position.

So, any information about purchasing a Takeshita Yoshie jersey would be appreciated.

  • Difference in movement between a Thoroughbred and an Arabian

What are some of the differences between the movement of a Thoroughbred stallion/gelding and an Arabian/Cheval-Canadien (Canadian Horse) mare?

What are the chances of the horses have very similar, if not not the same, movement? I've watched some videos of Arabians and Thoroughbreds on Youtube, but I'd like a second opinion.

I'm guessing it's not impossible, since I know of a Quarter Horse and an Akhal Teke that have the same movement.

But if you could describe the movement of a Thoroughbred and the movement of an Arabian/Cheval-Canadien (which is quite similar to a Friesian), how they differ, and how they are the same, that'd be great!

The information is for a story I'm writing, so it's really a theoretical question.

    Thank you for your time!
