I was just wondering about land ownership in Ireland when England ruled over it. Was all land owned by the British or were there Irish people who still owned land? Specifically around the turn to the 20th century.

Do you live underneath another apartment and if so do you hear them a lot walking and slamming doors? I've always lived on the top floor of buildings and recently moved to 2nd floor and it seems like I can hear the people upstairs doing eveything. Is this normal or should I complain to mgnt? They are not horrifyingly loud but annoying.

So, I went to the PETA website thinking maybe I could buy something off of it to support their organization. I was completely appalled to see the horrific, disgusting, unreal pictures they have on their front page. I understand they want to let people know what going on but I couldn't even look at their page, it almost made me vomit. I want to support an organization for animal rights that doesn't go to such disgusting extremems, I may agree with their principles but not their tactics.

Two weeks ago I started a new diet and exercise program, first couple of days I felt great and I was even finding that I was able to get up in the morning with greater ease and energy. But now it's like my body isn't getting enough rest. It doesn't matter if I'm going to bed at 930 or 1 in the morning when 730 rolls around I can't seem to wake up. The diet plan was very healthy I started eating fruits and vegetables as well as staying away from complex carbs and starchs. So it's not like I'm missing important aspects of nurtrition. What can I do to make it easier to get up in the morning. and please don't tell me to keep a glass of water next to my bed and splash my face.

Okay so i'm on this diet where I have to stay away from bread. At least for awhile. I'm also a vegetarian. I picked up some Hummus because it's wonderful and I don't know what to eat it with. So far I've used carrots, broccoli and cauliflower but do you have any other ideas? Remember NO BREAD

So I have this World War 2 coat I guess you'd call it and I'd really like to sell it but I'm not sure what I should ask for it and where exactly I should put it for sale. I'd do EBAY but I thought there might be somewhere that specializes in this stuff. It's specifically from 1942 and has measurements on it but no name. It's in very good condition.

I recently started with a dietician and he insisted that I eat an apple after breakfast and strawberries after lunch. I tried to ask why and he mumbled something about enzymes. I was just wondering what exactly is in each that will help me lose weight. (besides just being healthy things to eat I know that)

Okay so I got some car grease on my favorite pair of khaki capri's, my cousin told me to use WD40 to get it out. She said put it on and leave it for 15 mins. Did that and there were more grease stains on them along with the original stain. So then she said do it again then use dishsoap on it after you let the WD40 sit and the dishsoap will cut the grease. Did that, now there are like three stains layered one on top of the other. I NEED THESE FIXED, I'M FAT I DON'T HAVE ANYTHING ELSE TO WEAR!

So what would be better to do for Christmas? Buy a real christmas tree and feel bad for being responsible for having a tree cut down or buy a fake one and feel responsible for supporting the production of plastics which in turn causes more pollution and the use of petroleum? I can't win I feel help me please.
