How many weeks of the year are not worked in schools or colleges because of summer holidays or xmas holidays and half terms and any other holidays that they may have please?

please can you tell me how much tax, percentage wise is taken from wages in england in the lower tax band and the same for national insurance, what percentage is taken for that and is the national insurance percentage taken after the tax or before. Also, how much do you have to earn in england to go onto the higher tax band please. Hope you can help as this would really help me make my mind up about whether to take a job on or not. If a company has my name and address etc. Please can you tell me what they are allowed to do with that information and what they are not allowed to do with the information. Who are they allowed to pass it onto and under what circumstances. Also, if they are found to be breaking the rules or the law even, what will happen to the individual and what will happen to the company itself if this was to occur? I have seen many times on telly, chefs that use a round tower type thing that allows the chefs to stack up a tower of food for great presentation and also layers of different foods should they wish. I am not an atheist nor a believer and am open to the idea that a god of any religion exists, but i have trouble believing in something that i cannot see. I have a Dell Inspiron 6000 and use windows xp. I wish to know if and how can i set up passwords for indivual folders on a laptop so that only the person who owns that folder can open it via a password please. Your help is much appreciated.

I have two external hard drives, one a maxtor and the other a toshiba. What i wish to know is how do i set them up so that they have a password setting to gain access and cannot be accessed by anyone who doesnt have the password please.
