Is Y!Answers being used as a soap box for Islamic propagandists?
And if it were, how would it affect your views of the issues being discussed ?
Consider that we have at least one poster ("erudite": http://answers.yahoo.com/my/profile;_ylt=Ah5G7cTCs... who PRESENTS HIMSELF AS A VETERAN OF THE US MILITARY, and yet posts at least 5 - 10 messages per day trumpeting ignominious defeat for the US in Iraq, expressing admiration for Hezbollah, often while using flagrantly made-up news stories about "crying Marines".
Further consider that he posts those messages at hours more consistent with the Middle East than the American mid-west, and in a writing style that was never cultivated in a US public school, using slang ("eating shame" ??) more appropriate to Shakespeare than the Army.
If it were proved that person were a paid agent, would it make a difference to how you view the war ?
If there were an organized campaign to use open forums to broadcast propaganda, should it be stopped? If so, how?
21 AnswersMilitary1 decade agoLEVEL 7: Point multiplier ?
At some level, is there a point multiplier that kicks in for questions asked and answered ?
I ask the question because I see from the weekly leaderboard that there are people who have 30K + points / week.
Doing a little math, it seems like these folx are earning 4285 points / day. Assuming that each day, they vote for best answer the maximum number of times, this is still 4185 points / day on answering questions.
This means that they manage to answer between 348 - 2092 questions per hour (depending on the number of "Best Answers").
Assuming sleep time of about 8 hours, this translates to 21 - 130 questions PER HOUR....
Level 7s - is this possible ? Does my math make sense ? Is there a level that you can reach where your best answers and your regular answers get more points ? Are there bots involved ?
Thanks for your candid reply :)

3 AnswersYahoo Answers1 decade agoHow can I relax and enjoy being happy?
I married to a wonderful man whom I love and who loves me, takes care of me, and treats me like a princess.
But I can't help but think that SOMETHING is going to happen - I stay awake at night worried that it can't last, and think about all the terrible things that could send me back to my old life.
I didn't do anything special to get here - I'm not smart, I'm not a great person, I didn't rack up tons of karma points - I just woke up one day and it wasn't Groundhog Day anymore.
So, even if I didn't deserve it, now that I'm with someone who makes me happy, how can I just relax and be happy and stop driving both of us nuts ???
