  • American Idol?

Does anyone else think they should have broadcast the show at the same time, say 9:30 to 11:30 eastern/6:30 to 8:30 pacific, across the country so everyone could actually see the results without having it ruined for them?

  • Blood pressure question?

I know high blood pressure is bad for you but what about the opposite end of the spectrum? My blood pressure has usually been pretty low but it was 101/57 and 99/55 recently. How low is too low and are there certain symptoms I should be watching for? What conditions would cause such low readings? I'm 99.5% sure the readings are accurate. They were done by qualified professionals.

  • Help - nickname for grandmother?

My daughter is pregnant with my first grandchild and we don't know what the baby should call me.

My grandmother is still alive and she is Nana but she'll be Nana B_____.

Also, we're thinking that the baby will end up calling my daughter - Shannon - Nan or Nana because most babies call her that when they're learning to talk and trying to say Aunt Shannon will almost inevitably come out as some form of Nan and Nan's pretty much always been her nickname.

My mom is and always will be Gram to all the grandchildren and now to her great grandchild.

My husband's mom is Mammam to the grandchildren and great grandchildren and Mammam sounds too old to me anyway.

I don't want to be grandma because it's another one that sounds too old to me. (I'll be 44 when the baby is born)

My daughter has come up with Mims but I'm not stuck on this one. Any other suggestions out there??

Do you believe the majority of questions asked on Y!A are asked by people who make up dilemmas and situations just to see the reactions they can get?

Do you believe they are valid questions and that the people asking really are in the situations they describe and are truly looking for help?

  • Does anyone else think that?

YA should give you a warning that you are about to reach your daily limit a few answers ahead of time? It drives me CRAZY when I try to answer not realizing that I'm at my limit and I get that message that I've reached the daily limit! Don't you think there should be a warning saying something like "you can answer three more questions today before you reach your limit" or some other kind of warning?

  • Head of household status?

Here's the situation... We're married but do not live together. I have three children from my previous marriage. Can we BOTH file as head of household and he claim one child (as a step-parent) and I claim two since we do not and have not lived together at all since we married or do we have to file either jointly or married filing separately?
