If you knew someone who couldn't afford the basic necessities, would you take an interest free loan from them?
Our government withholds taxes from our paychecks. This is, in effect, an interest free loan. They are taking "their" share of OUR money before we are able to use it for our own needs. Then we end up borrowing money at high interest rates(that is, in effect, another tax).
We should demand that they stop withholding taxes from our checks and allow us to take care of ourselves. Then they can get back to doing the things that the constitution gives them the power and the responsibility to do. Their obligations will cost alot less and they won't need to tax us as much.
1 AnswerPolitics1 decade agoDo they think we're too stupid to make our own choice?
With communities, cities, and states banning smoking in bars & restaurants does anyone else feel insulted? It seems they think that business owners(some of whom have been around for decades) are too stupid to run their own business. Potential employees are too stupid to decide for themselves whether they should apply for a job at a place that isn't smoke free. Patrons to these businesses are too stupid to say "hey, that place allows smoking. I'll go somewhere else". I take that as a personal insult.
