  • Head cold & Breastfeeding?

I am wondering if I should expect a reduction in my milk supply while I'm breastfeeding with a cold. I pump when at work and have gotten much less this week than normal (by several ounces per pump session), and I'm wondering if it's due to my cold, or maybe a different factor I have yet to consider.

Thanks in advance for the help!

  • Why are people allowed to delete questions?

This is ridiculous. I have tried 5 times to ask this question:

I have two female, 4 year old cats that I have raised from just a few weeks old. I have to give them away for adoption because my (now) husband is allergic. I have tried to find families that I know to take them, but have yet to find one. We have resorted to calling shelters and animal rescues and their waiting lists are at least a month long! I don't know what to do... I don't want to give them away anyway, but I have to and really need to give them away by Sunday as that's the last day of my lease. Any advice?

And someone has deleted it each time! What the heck? I really need advice here...

  • I am ordering SoftPaw Claw Covers for my cat on Ebay-can anyone please recommend the right size?

I have used these before and love them, since I will never declaw my cats, and they work great! Unfortunately, I am in India and the girls are in the U.S. so I can't "weigh" them and their "babysitter"/foster mom is horribly busy and I don't want to bother her to look at the packages I left her.

    Here are the guidelines:

    6) How do I know what size my pet needs?

PetPet Claws come in the following sizes:

For Cats: Kitten, Small, Medium and Large.

Kitten - (under 5lbs) usually Kittens of 8-20 weeks of age.

    Small - (6-8lbs)

    Medium - (9-13lbs)

    Large - (14lbs +)

Would you say it's better to err on a tight fit? I know both of my cats are small for their age. They are a year and a half old. However, one of them weighs a couple pounds more than the other.

    Any suggestions?

  • What breeds do you think are possibly my cats bloodlines?

I am curious... I got both of my cats out of a box-literally. They were 2 of 7 and I don't think they are from the same litter... but I am clueless. Any idea of their bloodlines and/or breed?

Isabella is all grey - I am guessing she is most similar to a British Shorthair (British Blue)...I also looked at Russian Blues, but she must be a mixed breed. She has medium coat (VERY thick), greenish/gold eyes, and a very regal attitude! She is independent, and can be very skittish... she is strikingly beautiful, tho.

Lola is all white, with markings of a calico on her back. She has a black spot behind each paw on the back of her legs and her eyes are much more golden than her sissys. She is playful and loyal and also a major cuddler!

Also, any idea why they'd hate catnip? They do!

  • I am the only mom my cats know and I have been gone 3 months from USA to India. Will they remember me?

They are a year and a half old right now, and they were a week old (abandoned) when I rescued them and obviously bottle-fed, taught to defecate, etc... I am the only mom they know and am sick that someone else has them right now, but I get my babies back in 1 month! A friend who knows a lot about cats told me that they will know me when they see me, by smell and sound. Is this accurate? How else will they know me? I am heartsick without them! I guess I am wondering how long their memory is!
