I've been a few places on this (somewhat green) earth and have noticed that graffiti is 1) everywhere 2) basically looks the same.

I have a few questions:

Where do graffiti artists learn their 'trade'?

Where do they buy their tools? (ie- paint, markers, whatever... for that matter, What are their tools?)

Is it difficult? (Judging by the stuff I've seen, it must be because there is a huge variation in ummmm 'quality'...)

Have you ever 'graffiti-d'?

Tell me anything else interesting about graffiti that you know!

I have a big healthy-looking impatiens plant in a planter by an open window. A couple days ago, I noticed clear 'crystals' hanging on the underside of each leaf and along the branches. When I touch them, they come off in my hand and are sticky. Is this normal? Also, I've noticed the past couple days that there seems to be an increased number of flies around the plant- does it 'draw' insects? (It's going outside, if that's the case!) The plant is beautiful... just checking to see what's normal... Thanks!

Listening to the Beatles tonight... it definitely goes with my mood!

My friends' 18 month old throws a fit, screams and howls- and then holds his breath... until his lips turns blue. Meanwhile, everyone jumps up and down, shouting and waving over baby until he takes a breath, at which point not only the toddler but everyone present is upset. My question is two-fold: 1- is there any danger that a child could actually die doing this? (I am under the impression that the baby will pass out and then the brain takes over the breathing commands.) 2- is this possibly a control issue and how do you stop it? Another child in the family does the same thing. I've noticed that it is a very sucessful way for the children to get what they want. On the other hand, I feel a bit bad when I don't join in the frantic 'toddler dance'- like I don't love the child. What is the deal with this behavior? If I baby-sit and this happens, do I need to be worried?

I just heard it for the first time recently and saw the video... Just wondering if anyone knows any of the history; did 'the Man in Black' write it as well as perform it (I'm guessing yes)? Is there anything on record re the meaning of the lyrics? I like the song and the voice (as always) but must admit it is a bit depressing.
