If you are referring to something in your life yes is the answer.
I tell my mom everything and ask her advice on most things.
I have 5 grown children and 10 grandchildren that benefit also from her vast years and knowledge.
She has just about seen everything. She knows how things will work out and has saved me from heartache when I shared with her and I made some huge mistakes when I did things my way.
She loves you and will not lead you down the wrong path.
Show your mom how much you treasure her opinion..tell her.
The Bible talks about the wisdom of gray headedness.

I hate to do this but you didn't complete the question, i am willing to help you out but since the question isn't completed, i am guessing you are talking about the fact that some1 had a child and this some1 didn't tell the mother and is considering telling her mother that she had a child long ago and is considering introducting the child to the grandmother. But then again i am not sure about the answer since i don't know if you are talking about your child not knowing the grandmother or some1's mother does know that she had a child.
