Axixtech SLED04 Grille Set up, one light won't turn on?
Hey everyone, I've recently installed four Axixtech SLED04 grille lights into my vehicle. I'm having a strange problem with one of them, whenever the car is running, one of the lights seems to go out. The lights are hardwired, directly to the + and - terminals of the battery. The other night, I noticed that the light went on when the vehicle seemed to go into a "high" idle. When I turn the key so the battery is on but haven't turned it all the way to start the engine it turns on. When the car is off completely they will all turn on no problems. I've checked and rechecked all the wires.
I have considered that maybe they will all turn on when the car is moving and there is gas being provided to the engine but there is no way for me to know this without going to some difficulty.
Anyone have an advice?? Is this normal? What just seems strange to me is that all the other lights work with no issues whatsoever and this particular one does not seem to work
1 AnswerOther - Cars & Transportation1 decade agoHow can I install emergency grille lights?
Hey everyone, I drive a 2004 Toyota Rav4 and I am installing four small LED emergency lights in the grille. I've mounted the lights and the control box fine, but I am having trouble running the wires from the lights into the cabin of the car to hook them up to the box. Does anyone have any hints or tips about running the wires from the grille into the cabin? Im sure there has to be some opening or gap in between the cabin and the engine compartment, but I can't find it. Any ideas are greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
2 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs1 decade agoWhat are the job requirements to be a safari driver for the Kilimanjaro Safari in the Animal Kingdom?
Hey everyone,
Ive been looking into the Disney College Program lately and its something I am really interested in. I've been reading everything I can get my hands on about what sort of jobs Disney World offers, and one of the common hits is a safari Driver for the Kilimanjaro Safari in the Animal Kingdom.
I was just wondering if anyone has any idea what is required to be one of these drivers. Do you have to go through special training, is there a script Disney likes you to stick to, are there many risks with the job, are college program students even allowed to drive the trucks, anything you can give me would be awesome.
Thanks!
2 AnswersOrlando1 decade agoHow much does it cost to repair a RAV 4 locking mechanism?
I just purchased a used 2004 Toyota RAV 4 and love it so far but the only problem I have encountered is that the lock on the drivers side does not work properly. When using the electronic switch inside of the car to lock and unlock the vehicle, the driver's side does not unlock or unlock. The same is with the remote key, where everything except the driver's door locks or unlocks with the remote. However, when using the key on the outside, it does lock and unlock properly, and when i manually lock and unlock the individual door it works fine. When the door is locked or unlocked, it also stays that way, but when trying changing it with the remote or switch it does not change. I'm wondering how much this might cost to repair (its not covered under the warranty) or if there's a way i might be able to take care of it by myself. I live in New York.
Thanks!!
2 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs1 decade agoEmergency lights on my POV Question (I'm EMS)?
Hi, I recently joined my local ambulance corps about a month ago, and so far, I'm loving it. One of the things i have been wondering about though are the lights that i am permitted to put on my privately owned vehicle. I read that you can only have one green light displayed in the front of the car, but one of the other members has about 8 different green lights on his Jeep Wrangler (2 on the top of the windshield, 2 on the bottom, two on the front fender, and 2 on the sides by the wheels) He's also with the fire department, so he has a blue light bar in his windshield. What then threw me is that he has yellow, blue, and i think red lights on a bar in his rear window. Is this legal?
And what are the exact things allowed on a POV? How many of what colored lights are allowed where?
Thank you!!!

1 AnswerMathematics1 decade agoAnyone who works or worked for Disney World, Florida, or anyone else, but them especially, please take a look!?
Okay, I live in NY, I'm seventeen, and a college freshman. I'm going to a local community college because I don't feel ready for a four year school. One of my ideas for long term plans would be to go to college in Florida or California and work at Disney World or Disneyland.
I've been thinking a lot about this because I really do love Disney World. I went there over this past spring break for the first time in 10 years, and was just amazed. Leaving was one of the hardest things to do. I figure that since I want to go to Florida anyway and I love Disney, maybe I should there part time while going to school.
If you work there, what's it like? I know the pay isn't great, but I'm not concerned about that because it's just a part time job and it is higher than minimum wage, according to their website at least. I also know the dress code is really strict, but I have no problems with that either. I would be interested in operating attractions, life guarding, waiter, even cashier, just something that puts me in the park.
My biggest concern is that once I work there, going back to Disney would never be the same. It kind of ruins the "magic" and mystery, but at the same time, I know it's not real magic, of course, but there's always that questioning of how they do it. So, if your a former or current worker, I'd love it if you could answer that.
FYI, I know about the college program, is that worth it, or is it better to just get a part time job and go to school at the same time?\
Thanks a lot!!

2 AnswersAmusement Parks1 decade agoWhat do you think about President Obama's proposal to extend school hours?
Okay, so I know a lot of people are freaking out about this whole school proposal, but I think we need to slow down and really think about what he's suggesting. I'm a freshman in college, and I agree with him that the U.S. needs better and more effective education, but I definitely don't want to sacrifice my summer vacation. One way I would compromise is to make the school day longer and maybe go in every other saturday or something. Like I said, I don't want to lose my summer vacation any more than the next guy, but he definitely has some points when he says that the U.S. is falling behind in education and success on a global scale.
I'm just curious as to what other people think, and please, feel free to post whatever you want.

Hi, I've been having this problem with my computer where a sound is playing in the background with no video or apparent source. Sometimes it's a commercial, other times it sounds like a whole movie is playing. Any ideas how to find what's making the sound file play or if there's a specific program making it run?
Thanks in advance!

6 AnswersSmall Business1 decade agoWhat are some product ideas for a 16 year old trying to start a home business?
I'm 16 in three weeks and I'm trying to start a home business that may or may not be centered at selling my products on ebay. Two years ago, my sister sort of conned me into a business where we made herbal shampoo, but that never took off then she left me with two hundred dollars worth of debt. Now I'd like to try again, but I would like some ideas of products from people who have no idea who I am or have a biased opion of me. Any tips or ideas are gretly appreciated.
Thanks a lot!!
4 AnswersSmall Business1 decade agoIs the product "Ultra Green Tea Lean" available in stores? And if so, which ones?
I've heard great things about it, and I would love to try it out for a while, but I'd rather get it direct rather than they ship it to me. So I'm wondering if I can get it in like, GNC or CVS or RiteaAid or something.
Thanks in advance!!!

Ok, so I have a Sony Handycam, and it records to the little DV's. Then it just leaves it hanging and I can't do anything but close it out. Any ideas of what this means or what to do?
