Sound is playing on my computer with no video, and I can't find out what it is.?
Hi, I've been having this problem with my computer where a sound is playing in the background with no video or apparent source. Sometimes it's a commercial, other times it sounds like a whole movie is playing. Any ideas how to find what's making the sound file play or if there's a specific program making it run?

If these are downloaded movies then you might be missing the DIVX driver for them. If you are missing a DIVX driver then it sometimes will have you hear the sound but not let you see the video since it is encoded and needs the driver to decode it.
