Looking for the title of a book I remember seeing in the 90s in paperback. I presume it was set in the 19th century. The inside cover showed different scenes, one being a corpse with its mouth sewn shut, another with a man holding a lantern near his head. I believe the title had something to do with the number "6." I know it s not "The Seven Percent Solution."

For several days my oil burner had been acting up. It shut down and I hit the reset. It stayed running for a day or so. It did this several times. Finally, it shut down again and would not stay on. This morning, I opened it up and the filter, screen, and nozzle were just saturated with sludge. I replaced the filter, the screen, and the nozzle, going from a .75 80A to a .80 80A. The plumber at the supply store said that small of a change wouldn't make a difference.

I put everything back together, and it fired up. About 20 minutes to a half an hour later, I noticed black smoke coming from the chimney, and I immediately shut the burner back down. I don't think it was blowing the black smoke before I replaced the filters and nozzle.

What could be causing this?

My Burner is a Beckett Cleancut. Last oil delivery was about two weeks ago.

My mother bought a brand new Hyundai several years ago and stopped driving due to a lasting injury. In the mean time the New York State vehicle registration expired. She has also misplaced the title to the vehicle. Rather than let the vehicle sit there while she gets better, we want to put the car back on the road for the rest of the family to use. Can she re-register the vehicle (still in her name) in person at a DMV office WITHOUT the title?

I know this is a long shot, but I'm looking for the name of a panting. It is mostly black with a red spot in the center that can be best described as a glowing rock or coal. The center has specks of black in it as well. Any help would be great.

I recently bought a GE 5,200 BTU window air conditioner from walmart. I am now having a problem with it being very noisy, the sound could be best described as a crinkling of a plastic shopping bag. Other than that it is working fine and pumping out very cold air. Does anyone have any ideas? Should I bring it back?

Is anyone else out there tired of the shrinking literature collection and the growing video & pop-book collections in libraries? Perhaps it's just in my library, but it seems to be lacking the classics.
