2 AnswersWords & Wordplay10 years agoQuestion about citing for my essay!?
If I have two quotes belonging to the same author, do I have to provide two in text citations? Like for instance the alliance between the United States and Israel is “unshakable” with a strong “commitment to Israel’s security” 14(Obama, 2011).
Is it okay to cite it once like I did above, are do I have to put a (Obama, 2011) after "unshakable" as well?

LAW QUESTION: Life insurance is signed however the person didn't know what she was signing/?
Scenario: An elderly woman has 2 sons. The woman speaks absolutely no english. One day, one of the sons paid a visit to the mother and asked her to sign a few papers (life insurance). However, she had no idea what she was signing and "trusted" her son in whatever it happened to be. The son never told his brother about this life insurance and the brother just found out. Is there a law in CANADA that states that someone's signature is considered invalid if the person had no idea what she was signing?
Please help
Thank you

3 AnswersLaw & Ethics1 decade agoLAW QUESTION: Case scenario. Is this a bona-fide occupational requirement?
Anthony, who is 18 years old, has applied for a job as a clerk in a sporting goods store. The store manager is impressed with Anthony’s maturity and ability and says that he will hire him, subject to reference checks. On checking his references with a former employer, the manager found out that Anthony was convicted of reckless driving several times when he was younger and calls to tell him he will not be hired. Has the store manager violated Anthony’s human rights by refusing to hire him?
Is this a bona fide occupational requirement? Or it is irrevelant?

1 AnswerMedicine1 decade agoEnglish essay. (topic: technology) please help me with making my thesis and arguments better. Thanks :D?
Thesis: humans' socialization skills have diminished because of advancements in technology
Argument 1: Technology has made people more self-centred
Argument 2: A fast-paced life leaves less time for socialization
Argument 3: Humans are more dependant on technology than they are on each other.
If there is anything that you would change to make this better, please do! Thanks again!
