I'm getting my first generation iPod touch fixed next week because there's a problem with the headphone jack; connection issues causing the left headphone to not play sound.

The main question of it is, how much are the charges? How much did you have to pay personally? And did Geniuses provide a good solution?

I already have my SIM card from another phone; I'm planning on plugging that card into the iPhone and still maintain my current plan and billing service.

My carrier supports the iPhone, but they only tell me the price with a 3-year term and some contract;

Nowadays, I see really fashionable people at the mall carrying what look like cloth bags from grocery stores and what's catching on in other places, such as Hong Kong, are the reusable cloth bags from stores as well.

Personally, I've been toting around a stainless steel water bottle from Klean Kanteen and have started this trend around my school.

Is there more we can do? and What are some other things that an individual can do to help Earth just a smidgen?

My family and I were choosing seats on the airplane and we were thinking of sitting in row 30 and 31, which is right beside the left wing on the Airbus 343.

My mom said it would be noisy, and she suggests sitting at the very back of the plane...

My school has this Culinary Arts Club that my friends and I have decided to join.

In about 2 weeks or so, the school is welcoming a Japanese exchange student group and our teacher and the co-ordinator of the club is thinking we make food for them!

Here's the scoop: We will NOT make anything Japanese-ish or else we'll be laughed at.

And we want some light snacks. Last year's group did not like pizza because it was too heavy (greasy, oily).

So... We came up with having some West Coast food like fish, or something appetizer-like. Mini-burgers, and that's about it so far.

Any ideas?

Well, my homeroom class is working on a poster that shows the code of conduct of our school on it.

We have most of the things completed, but we're looking for a school motto.

My school is A.R. MacNeill Secondary School

and our mascot is the Raven.

"We fly high" would have worked, but it sounds like every single student would be on drugs, so our teacher wouldn't let us use it...
