I know that alot of bikes specs don't change from year to year, and I can't really get a straight answer from the dealership because they obviously want me to buy from them and spend an arm and a leg, they look the same, judging from the pic, and the one that's on my bike.

Also, do you happen to know if the electric blue Suzuki used is the same from year to year? Or at least for 1999 to 2002?

I live in my my parents old home. It was my grandparents before theirs. It has been paid for, for a number of years. Originally we agreed to a purchase price of $15K for the substandard structure & the acre of land. Following Hurricane Rita, their insurance adjuster came out, totaled out the structure (I was present for the inspection, and ordered to be quiet) my parents were cut a check for almost $18K. They canceled the insurance on this property following that, and almost 2 years later, they are now back to demanding I pay them the $15K again. Are they not, in a sense, being paid twice, for one piece of land? Does it not border on insurance fraud?

Mind you, I did all the clean up and improvements to the land that they were compensated for already, and got nothing.

Basically, the long and the short of the story is, I had a gas leak somewhere under my house, so it was cheaper to switch my hot water heater and my stove over from gas to electric, rather than rip up my floors.

I have a contractor friend doing the work, due to the fact I can't run the wiring through the attic, what's basically going to be done is run it outside, drill a hole in the wall, and plug it in there. We are using a 30amp 220 v breaker, what gauge wire should we use? The lady at Lowe's say we MUST use 6/2 wire, we MUST and she refused to sell me anything else. I called a cousin of mine who works construction, and he said an 8/2 would work. It has also been suggested that we use 10/2

My contractor friend says he would be comfy using 10/2, but if 8/2 is what I want he will go with it. The Lowe's lady says 10/2 will melt

So do I use an 8/2?

Why the patchjob? because the house is going to be torn down in 3 months and a new one built

My son wants to be Neo for Halloween, his school does not celebrate Halloween, but they do allow the children to dress in costume as a charachter from a book. So many movies today are based off graphic novels or comic books, which classifies as a BOOK, is the Matrix based off a book of any sort?I know there are comic books and graphic novels after the movies came out, but I am specifically referring to BEFORE the movies came out/ A little background would be great so when I call and state my case, I can sound informed. Last year he was Darth Vader, as was half the male populice of the school, which I know is a movie based OFF a series of 9 novels, but elementary kids would not have read those novels either..

I think this teacher is just trying to be a pain..

It's the first of the month, and my sons check did not arrive, I called the SSI administration and they said it's because of the holiday. It seems like I have recieved his checks before when there's been a holiday,and they were right on time...I could be wrong.

I know I know..I really should sign up for direct deposit...I keep meaning too...

Hayden Christiensen at the end of the movie as a ghost during the ewok celebration. Wasn't that scene always there.. just with Darth as the old guy, Sebastian Shaw..or was it something new put in for some extended edition or something? I just watched the marathon on TV and I really dont recall seeing that before..I checked Hayden Christensens bio and he's not credited with it, and he's also uncredited on the movie bio page as well..or was it always there and it's just some actor who looks like Hayden..hence why they picked Hayden later on because of the resemblence...

I ask because one of my kids is obsessed with SS, and my other son is obsessed with Spidey. We already have the giant life size Spiderman Blockbusters raffled off a few years ago ( which, btw, when you half asleep and you get up to potty at 3 am.. scares the HECK out of you) I wanted to try to win or buy one of these displays for my other son, but there is none on eBay, I can't even find a blurb about it anywhere on the net. I wonder if they will be raffled off, or sold..

Kinda changes things when the drop zone girl said everybody on the flight was accounted for on the bottom of the ocean floor, but then again, if Dharma is as big of an outfit as the show lets on, they could just be saying that in a press release for the sake of the *island experiment*....I just wish they would get to the point already!

I had a traditional bikini line hysterectomy 3 years ago after a cancer scare. I always had a fairly flat stomach, not ripped and firm, but flat-ish. 3 years later, it seems the more I try to get my stomach down with diet and exercise, the more intent it seems to be on staying put. I am not on any type of hormone therapy, nor am I on any type of meds for anything at all. Is there a reason why my weight loss is stalled and my stomach is stayin put?

Why is it, the more I try to treat people as I would like to be treated, do the right thing,and try to be just and fair, I seem to really get the shaft.

By the same token, why does it seem like the bigger a liar or a backstabber or a gossipmonger you are.. the better off those people are and the further they go in life?

I try to teach my kids my way of doing things..but so often it seems they'd have better luck being a POS than a good person..any thoughts on this?

I needed my truck repaired. I charged the $480. The service station ran my card and got authorization and a reciept. I signed it. Now there saying they submitted it in the batch at the end of the day. They ran it,they have a reciept, I have a reciept. However it showed up on my CC for a week as a "pending authorization for an approved transaction that has not yet been applied to my account, my current spending balance reflects this transaction*....ok so now..the transaction has dissapeared off my CC, gone..nothing..no charge. I have NOT recieved any calls or letters from my CC company.They say it just dropped off...so what the HECK happened? I might add this is a NEW business, like 2 months old, could they have made the mistake? will it show up later somewhere?
