Pantheist Pagan - I know, doesn't seem like it fits, but it does. I'm 41 yrs old, married with 1 "kid" (he's 21). I am interested in religious belief, though I don't have many such beliefs of my own. Though I know it's practically impossible in here, I like finding people who will discuss religion in a civil manner without taking anything personal or getting totally ticked off because I or another does not believe.
Wiccans, Witches, Pagans and Heathens... how do you feel about?
people who want to be Christian and Pagan?
12 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoPagans, Wiccans, Heathens, etc.....?
Hard polytheist? Soft polytheist? Henotheist? Monotheist? Dualism? Which do you believe?
14 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoIf the Bible is Gods Word, then why is it that so many disregard....?
the Old Test laws? When the Old Test is where you find "God" stating that his word is ETERNAL? Now, because he killed his own kid, they suddenly aren't eternal anymore? Or is it that some of the "scriptures" really aren't Gods Word?
I keep seeing many Christians claiming that Gods Word is forever, then turn around and say "well, except those old test laws... they're done away with" So is his "Word" eternal or not?
16 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoSam Harris, not the atheist many believed?
Curious as to whether or not other atheists view "god" in the same way as Harris is quoted in this article? Or are you a hard-core atheist? (We pretty can tell who the anti-theists are)
13 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoAsatruar, Heathens, etc... A question about the author?
Edred Thorsson? Is he worth reading? I got mixed info when I asked about him in an online forum. Some love him, others claim he's a crank - right on par with Diana Paxson.
3 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoIf America and it's laws were based on the 10 Commandments...?
Wouldn't that make this a Jewish nation and not a Christian one? Especially since in Exodus it says this Biblical God gave those laws to Israel. And most Christians will claim they aren't "Under the Law" anymore?
11 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoWhy do some Christians count ALL other Christian sects when it's something?
they want to have "power" over? Example - Martin asked a question earlier about using the words Solstice instead of Christmas or Happy Holidays instead of Merry Christmas. Someone answered "Because there are more of us - A LOT more" Why do some Christians claim ALL sects of Christianity to UP their numbers in cases like this... but when it comes right down to it, they are quick to say which sect ISN'T Christian?
