  • How would you explain this?

In the Upper Peninsula of Michigan when I was stationed at K.I. Sawyer Air force Base around 1990. One night my First Sergeant and his wife and me and my wife went on a drive at night to drive and look for deer (not poaching) just a little drive in the woods. We left my First Sergeant's house and we drove to a place we knew about that there was a long logging road. We turned into the logging road and slowly drove along looking for deer. After about 45 minutes to and hour or so we turned around and left one the same road we had driven down. Now remember this is a straight road. After turning around and heading back out the way we came in almost instantly we were on the hard road that we had came into the logging road from. Instantly in unison all four of us said "What The F****" was that. Where we all knew we experienced something strange but there wasn't an explanation for it. How do you cover a long distance almost instantly like in this case. I could understand it if one of us said "wow we got back to the hard road kinda quick" But in this case we all knew we had experienced something very strange and by the reaction of all of us each of us knew we had. Yet after the incident none of the other people in the experience wanted to talk with me about it. Even to this day.

  • Since we're a vibrational code of cohesive energy could there be a way to realign our atoms?

Since we're a vibrational code or frequency of cohesive energy could there be a way to realign our atoms returning us to an earlier form in life? In which could actually restore us to a younger healthier form per say.

  • Could our body hairs act as a type of fiber optic cable?

Seriously we know that our hairs respond to static electricity and other things. But could a hair act as a fiber optic cable that sends messages from the light to the root and nerve ending and be interpreted by the brain? I've asked this before long ago to a person and they said that a hair was dead. That wasn't the intent of my question. If you look at a cross section of a hair closely I believe you can start to see where this might lead.

  • Why is it so easy to remember the bad and hard to remember the good?

I asked a psychologist once "when was the last time your wife made you angry?" He said "three years on a Thursday at a party at eight in the evening" and proceeded to tell me the whole story.

The answer came up almost instantly. Then I asked "what did you have for lunch yesterday?" he thought and thought and finally remembered. I said "did you like your lunch?" He said "Oh yes" Then I asked "So why was it so easy for you to find the negative so quickly and it took so long for something positive?" He just looked at me kind of bewildered. So why is it we're wired this way?

  • Why do we call things secret societies?

I know you might think this is the intro for a joke. But seriously if there are and I'm sure there are secret societies why do people say yeah the secret society the Illuminati or all the other ones they name. Wouldn't you be led to believe if they truly are secret no one would know they exist?

  • Which is the best option the colonization of space or the ocean floor?

Seriously the idea of traveling into space and setting up a colony sounds like a great fantasy to me. But I believe it would be more beneficial and economical to build right here under the seas. I'd much rather try to keep out water than a vacuum and also not have to be put into a cryogenic sleep for 8 or 10 years for a trip to a far off planet. You have the floor lets see your pros and cons please...

  • What if all energy was in fact created at the same time?

Wouldn't that mean that all the so called spirits or souls that we say gives us life are the same age? I guess the only answer that could work would be if science was actually able to put a date on the atoms and such that comprise our bodies and the universe it's self in comparison. Please let me know your take on this....

  • If God knows everything how can he get angry?

Seriously if a God per say was privy to everything a person would ever do in their lives how could he get angry? Doesn't anger generally come from miss information, lack of knowledge or confused thoughts?

  • How do we know how animals perceive reality?

I've heard all these claims about things like deer can't see hunter orange, or certain animals only see black and white and so on. Seriously how do we know this? I realize we have studied the eyes but even with what we know about their eyes. How can we tell for certain how their brains actually interpret what their eyes actually see. Like this example many of you have seen a dog going round and round on a rug or even a tile floor before lying down as if they were patting down grass to make a bed. Could in their mind that they actually are seeing the grass that they have been patting down for thousands of years before they were domesticated. I was told they do this as a defense that their sensing the wind direction and smelling the air and are going to lay down with the wind coming from them in a direction so that they could sense danger. So in closing until we can actually understand what the brains of other creatures on this planet do with stimuli how can anyone make these absolute claims about them?

  • Reality is merely an Illusion?

As per Einsteins quote: Do we actually see the things we observe in reality? Or is it that all we see is the light waves that bounce off the things we believe we see?

  • How do you like this tragic poem?

    My Secret

I remember my first day in school quite well,

this is a secret I never did tell.

It was the end of the day in the classroom,

and I really needed to go to the bathroom.

I was afraid to ask the teacher to leave,

for the nature call I had to relieve.

I sat and squirmed waiting to pee,

wishing the clock would soon strike three.

But, I didn't make it until then,

and outward came what was within.

It ran down my leg and made a mess,

in a noticeable puddle I must confess.

But no one saw it and three did come,

class was dismissed so away they run.

I sat and thought what should I do

to make sure no one ever knew.

I pretended to be looking inside my desk,

hoping the teacher would leave me to my test.

After she finally was out the door,

I put papers over the pee on the floor.

Then I moved the desk in front of me,

over the top of the puddle of pee.

I did this by moving each one a little back,

concealing the truth of my bladder attack.

I'm fifty four years old and no one knew,

until I revealed this secret to you.

I don't remember who was in front of me,

that I cleverly framed with my pee.

  • Is there a link or something where I can find a band willing to work with a Poet?

I've been writing poetry for years and I have many pieces that would make great songs. Where can I find a band willing to work with me?

  • How would you rate this poem?

    Not enough tasks

Why did I always have to empty the thunder mug?

Wasn't there more than I using this jug?

And my dad's spittoon that reeks of chew,

couldn't one of my brothers have emptied it, too.

And I carried in each day seven buckets of stoker coal,

it wasn't for just me, it warmed other souls.

Yes, I emptied the ashes that made our sidewalk,

for a path to the outhouse that all of us walked.

I carried in water to warm for a bath in a washtub,

I was always the last to bathe after the others did scrub.

I was stuck weeding a garden while my brothers did play,

Seemed the more I pulled, there were even more the next day.

Everyone would hunt and fish when it was time,

yet it seemed like cleaning everything was a task all of mine.

Yes, and the dishes, I did them too.

There wasn't much at my home I did not do.

When I was young and did these things that I didn't understand,

they have helped me grow up to be a well-rounded man.

As I look back and see an empty lot where my home used to be,

I wish it was still there with even more tasks for me.

  • How does this poem work with Psychology?

    Cage the Rage

I can write my thoughts in a diary and show the darkest secrets of my life.

But as for some that can’t download somewhere their life's so filled with stirife.

Removing the veil of secrecy is hard for us to do.

If you can't down load your pains the Demons control you.

You can try a therapist, a psychiatrist or a priest,

but just a simple diary could be the best at least

Life is never easy even if your rich beyond control,

But we all have secrets that can tear at each ones soul.

Hard times will often happen with pains you can't forget.

Understanding this will tell you to find the best outlet.

We all know how the past can become an endless page,

and how it can trigger us to feel anger, hurt, and rage.

Search deep within to find your one true self,

and trap your Demons in your diary so high upon your shelf.

  • What do you think about this poem and the rhyme scheme?

    Peaceful Revelations

Death of this life isn't the end

Breaths of new realities dwell within

Sleeping messages will be known in time

Keeping the wishes of your infinite mind

Come to the garden which you have grown

Some day you will reap what you have sown

Choice was yours all along the way

Rejoice in the beauty of that future day

Before you do leave this lovely land

Adore all the things you have at hand

Love all the beauty from the simplest thing

Above all pleasures that riches can bring

  • What do you think about this poem?

    Free Style

    We're all pieces of the same ever-changing puzzle;

some connected for mere seconds, some connected for life,

some connected through knowledge, some through belief,

some connected through wisdom, some through Love,

and some connected with no explanation at all.

Yet, as spiritual beings having a human experience,

we're all here for the sensations this reality or illusion has to offer.

The best anyone can hope for is the right to be able to Live,

Learn, Love then Leave. After that, reap the benefits of their own chosen

existence in the hereafter by virtue of simply believing in what they believe.

As for here, it took me a while but this progression helped me with my life:

"I like myself. I Love myself. I am myself."

  • Question about "Thought"?

Their now saying "Thought" is a thing. So in the scheme of things if a being or a person of any sort was the last living being in the universe that had some form of a mind. Would it then be attached to all of thought? Thus knowing all answers, thus not needing a body for experience, thus fulfilling Einsteins scenario that if you use a 100 percent of your brain you could become pure energy. Which leads to my personal definition of a God "Pure Energy Supreme Consciousness" Stan...
