  • Fuel injector leaking at fuel rail oring missing?

I just replaced the head gaskets on my 2000 grand am gt. Got everything finally put back together yesterday. When I turned the key on and the fuel pump starting working I noticed fuel jetting out of the fuel line where it connects to the injector rail. I dont know if an oring is supposed to be on there and fell off or what. Anyone got any advice?

  • Can you retap and already installed helicoil.?

The threads on my 00 Grand am Cylinder head, for the rocker arms came out. So I went and got a helicoil. It fit on the bolt but once I got it in it seemed to have shrunk a little. Now my rocker arm wont thread on. Could I possibly use a tap the size of my bolt and slightly enlarge the helicoil without damaging the threads? Please help I dont have money for a new head.

  • 2000 pontiac grand am, heater core bad? thermostat?

A few weeks ago I noticed that my passenger side floor was wet, so i ordered a new heater core thinking that the problem, well first off where is it located. But now the problem is there has been no other water on the floor but I have no heat and the car overheats if I turn the heater on. I replace the thermostat a few months ago which id hate to do again to much of a pain. Any ideas on which it might be? Thanks.
