Fuel injector leaking at fuel rail oring missing?

I just replaced the head gaskets on my 2000 grand am gt. Got everything finally put back together yesterday. When I turned the key on and the fuel pump starting working I noticed fuel jetting out of the fuel line where it connects to the injector rail. I dont know if an oring is supposed to be on there and fell off or what. Anyone got any advice?

There should be an o-ring in there, Dont drive the car till this is fixed! You could have a fire otherwise

Get a set of new O rings. They are like $4. When you install these, use a little VASOLINE to lube the O rings before you install them into the fuel rail and intake manifold.

  • Definitely suppose to be an o-ring in there.. Unless you've already looked the O-ring may not be gone but instead just not seated correctly.
