  • Which credit card should I apply payment to?

So, I've got one $500 card that is interest free for the next few months that's nearly maxed, and I've got another $2000 card that charges interest with about $1800 charged on it (bad deal having them maxed, I know. I'm currently off work due to medical issues and won't be returning for quite a while so these have gotten me by the last few weeks.)

I've got $500 in the bank with the no-interest card coming due for payment in a few days... should I pay off the no-interest card completely, or should I just make the minimum and apply the bulk of my cash to the interest-bearing card with the higher limit?

    Thanks for any suggestions!

  • So when we elect a Republican President, how hard is it going to be to repeal Obamacare?

Everyone knows how a bill travels through congress to be made into a law, etc... but how hard is it to actually repeal a law from existence? Or would it be easier to just pass a new law making the ACA null and void?

  • Why aren't Christians really Jewish?

If Christians and the Bible recognize the Jews as being the chosen people of "God", and Christianity spawned from Judaism (sp?)... why aren't modern day Christians converting over into Jewdom so they can join a tribe when the time comes to be saved?

  • POLL - How many of you can effectively work on your computer when its infected?

I've seen quite a few suggestions lately in the computer security section regarding how to deal with viruses/spyware that you folks just reinstall your OS with the use of recovery disks.

So I guess my question is this...

Are there really that many of you out there that are so computer illiterate that you have to reinstall your OS every time you get a virus... and if so, why are you handing out this terrible advice to others when it can be easily fixed in a few simple steps?

  • Does my wife have to consent to have her name changed?

If she doesn't show up for the divorce hearing, can I have my last name removed from hers, and her name be changed back to her maiden name without her consent?

State of Illinois is where the divorce will be taking place.
