I am laying out a chalk line 100 feet long. I use the 3,4,5 triangle and I show to be an inch out of square. How do I calculate how far to adjust my measurement for the next attempt?

Have a duplex.. Tenant painted my ceiling beam white. Now I have this ugly white beam in the vaulted ceiling. Looks ridicules. Sand or paint pecan or walnut? Sanding loses the texture, not sure if trying to paint back to natural color will make worse.

We have those giant cockroaches living outside ~ coming up on our front porch at night.

I've heard people call them water bugs, I have hear them called mexican cockroaches, I have even had people tell me they are tree bugs.

They are about 10 times the size of a normal roach and rarely come in side ~ look the same though.

What kind of roach is that?

Will the gels kill them?

Due to the high cost I recently purchased an Onkyo 7.1 receiver ~ and 4 Klipsch component speakers: the sub, the center and two floor standing speakers. Obviously I will complete the system component by component.

The center and sub speak for themselves. So, with the 2 floor standing speakers I have remaining, what is the peak sound I can achieve? How would an expert set it up?

I'm looking for cinema performance from my blu-ray only(don't care about anything else):

The floorstanding speakers are Klipsch Synergy f2 which have bi-wire capabilities allowing the use of one or two inputs.

The amp still has 6 outputs available ~ 2 surround back, 2 surround and 2 fronts.

What channel , how many channels ~ how would you wire the two remaining speakers that have 4 total available inputs?

Please don't get to technical with your explanation because I am very inexperienced in this area.

Consider a blu-ray player for example. Are you going to notice a difference if you invest in a performance HDMI cable? Im using the R,G,B Av cords now and looks great. So, my question is. Will the HDMI add much to the resolution?

Bought a costumed out F150 ~ Big Block with a manual 4 speed NP435 tranny.

Super nice 4x4 if only I could get the clutch issues worked out.

What the person who I bought it from (who inherited it) told me is that the transmission was out.

Turned out to be a lock up shift top and damaged shift forks ~ missing the inserts.

I replaced the slave cylinder since it was external and he had receipts for a recent master cylinder replacement from a reputable Auto Repair Shop.

Still it's a monster to shift with the motor running (easy without motor running) will barely go into 2nd (I never use the first) when at a stand still. Grinds reverse every-time.

I can pump the clutch and give it longer than normally when the pedal is depressed with inconsistent results. When I bleed it out it seems to do better for a day or two then right back to the same thing.

Also, there is more clutch when the motor is not running. As soon as you start the truck the pedal is much softer, feels almost as one of the cylinders are gone.

What am I missing? Are the plates gone or nearly gone. There is no throw out bearing noise or clutch odors to indicate this.

For example ~ installed games that automatically boot on start up. Various other dormant programs ~ Mac Mail

So easy to do on Windows but I can't navigate to the correct OSX system manager that will disable start up applications.
