Pardon my ignorance. I want to learn to play electric guitar, but I live in an apartment building. I know it s possible to buy headphones and learn to play with headphones on instead of using an amp. But I m curious if the sound of the guitar is still gonna be too loud (I wouldn t want my neighbors to complain). Is it gonna sound louder or quieter than an acoustic guitar? Cause an acoustic guitar can be pretty loud.

Another question. Is it possible to start right away learning to play electric guitar, or do I still have to buy and learn to play acoustic first? I don t really like acoustic, and I heard it s harder to play, and my fingers are gonna hurt more playing acoustic.

Every time I'm trying to close Internet Explorer (any web site, doesn't matter), the message appears "Internet Explorer has stopped working" (?!!) After that, another message appears "Interner Explorer is restarting". After that it opens again (on my default homepage), even though I don't need it to open again. And then another Internet Explorer window opens automatically which says "Problem reports and solutions center. Problems caused by Windows". This is ridiculous! I already don't know what to do about it. Did somebody have the same problem with Windows Vista???

I used to have limewire on my old laptop (with Windows XP), and now I bought a new one with Windows Vista, and I can't even download lime wire at all. The system just blocks it, and the Internet explorer shuts down. Did anybody have this problem? Is there anything I could do to download it?

I"m studying in California now. I'm gonna get my AA degree in Business Administration from Santa Monica College this year. Then I'm planning to move to Florida and apply to FIU for Junior year for Business Administration major. I would like to know if my AA degree will be equivalent to Florida AA degree and will be enough for me to be accepted at a Junior standing to FIU?

I live in Los Angeles, CA. I got my water bill and it says that I used 10 times more water than usually. I rent a tiny studio apartment, and I am almost never at home. I live alone. Usually I use between 300 and 400 gallons of water per month, which is normal, because it's about 10-13 gallons of water per day. For almost 2 years the bill has been correct, but suddenly last month I got the bill that says I had used 4020 gallons for a month, which is of course ridiculous, because it's 134 gallons of water per day (and for one person!) It's obvious that there's an extra zero added, and not only where the quantity of water used is stated, but also the meter number and the reading number of both previous and present bills have extra zeros. The bill is $30. Before I used to pay about $15 a month for water. I tried to contact the water company (MINOL USA), and they only said that the meter reports in 10 digit increments(???), and that the bill is correct. What can I do? Where can I complain?

It says I have to respond within 5 days. The matter is that I am not an American citizen. In the back of this summons I have to answer a bunch of yes/no questions to determine if I'm eligible to be a juror. The first question is of course "Are you a US Citizen?". The problem is that if I answer "No", it says I have to write my Alien Registration #. What is that? I'm in the US with a J-1 visa. I just went to DMV to get a driver's license because I need a car to drive to work. I guess that's how the system found my name in DMV. What shall I do? Shall I call that phone #, or shall I ignore this summons, because it should not concern me anyway as I am not a US Citizen? What does usually happen when a person just ignores this paper?
