I was driving on the highway, and my overhead lights came on, about half as bright as usual. Found out that they come on now, but ONLY when my headlights are on.

Does anyone know the average and high running temp of it?

I have Tivo, with Tivo desktop for Vista, WMP11.

I tried to download every codec imaginable, yet the best playback I can get is the video side by side, but I can't change times, or I lose video and get audio.

I don't want to burn shows to disk or anything, I just want to playback on my PC.

VLC doesn't work either

I have Vista Home Premium

2 Modems

1 Wireless Router

1 Wired Router.

Downstairs

TiVO and Computer1 hooked into wireless router, wireless router hooked into Modem1

Upstairs

Computer2 and Xbox 360 hooked into wired Router.

Wireless USB adapter in computer2

Is it possible for my upstairs computer to connect to the wired Internet, and use the wireless usb adapter to connect only to the network so I can share files with the downstairs computer and the TiVO? How is this done?

Hey YA!

I am using Firefox 2.x (latest), and have the Fx B4 on my computer.

For the past few weeks, I've noticed that my page load rate as begin to slow down, not the auctual Firefox software, but the page loads. When I open it up in IE or Oprea, they go fine.

I've tried uninstalling all extentions, and that has done nothing.

Any other suggustions?

I haven't been keeping up with this much, so I'll ask Y!A.

I have Vista, and the most updated WMP11, as well as Napster. As of now, I have Napster on a Virtual PC running XP and WMP10, and download and convert using FairUse4WM, and copy them over to my PC to put on my Zune.

Is there any program out there that will work for Vista/WMP11? Or anyway to rollback, ect?

I just don't want to have to switch to MS Virtual PC to download one song.

What would you recommend for me? I want to install on a portable hard drive, and have space on there. I am a Vista user, and can't install it on there, but I'm willing to go to a Linux distro, or anything else that is free. I am a poweruser, so I don't care about the pretty, I just want something I can use.

I've been looking at Ubuntu, anything else out there you recommend?

Anyway to transfer over programs? Back-up and restore? I still have access to the C: and the D: installations.

I have MANY pictures, no 35mm film. Most are standard size (3x5?)

Are there any (inexpensive) scanners out there that you can basiclly put the pictures in and it'll scan them real quick

Long story short, I formatted the second drive. Windows doesn't start, and the Vista disk doesn't recognize my copy of Vista. What can I do?

The problem is I want to keep all my programs and personal data and documents, I am wondering if there is any way to just put the boot stuff back on the old disk.

So, in a nutshell.

My Windows directory was and still is on the C:\ Drive.

The boot information for Windows was and is not anymore on the D:\ drive.

I have a Vista disk, but without the boot info, it doesn't recognize C:\Windows as a OS.

I am going on a trip soon, with only my Dad and I. We are driving from Orlando, FL to Charlotte NC. I have my drivers permit from FL, and would like to split the driving with him, other than driving in FL, will the other states honor the permit?
