  • I need to find a realtor, what can I do to find a winner?

I was working with a real estate agent that is a total dud. I've asked him to find out information for me and to look through about a couple different properties recently and both were sold before I even heard back from him. He is absolutely not proactive at all and has never presented even one property to me personally, he has only put me on an auto email list from his website. I feel like this guy isn't very interested in servicing me at all. Can someone provide me some suggestions on what I can do to find a realtor that's a winner and a go-getter besides just try another?

  • What to do with a dirt floor basement?

We are considering buying a house with a dirt floor basement. It was built in the late 1800s/early 1900s so it has a stone foundation. We are in Iowa. Having a dirt floor basement makes us a bit leery. We feel like there could be a number of issues that could crop up from having a dirt floor basement. Perhaps that is being too paranoid? What are some cost effective options we could look at for covering the floor to make the basement more usable? Any suggestions here?

  • Thinking about starting a small service business, advice?

I am considering starting a technology service business, not a brick and mortar for now, just an install and repair service for home users and businesses. I'm not sure what the business laws are for my state (Iowa) and what the process would be for legitimizing my business. When must a company be incorporated and what are the benefits and drawbacks to this? Any advice that anyone can offer about what sort of expense I can expect to pay and what kind of a time frame I could be looking at before I can get underway. Thank you!

  • Moving entire program to a new computer?

Does anyone know of a program, preferably free, that will move entire programs to a different computer so that they will not need to be reinstalled from the disk? I'm not talking about the File and Setting Tranfer wizard or the User State Migration Tool either. I'm looking for a program that will grab all the files for a given program and migrate it over to another computer and register the dlls. Basically you just run the program on one or both computers and you're off and running with the software on both machines. Anybody have any idea?

  • My pug sneezes all the time?

He sneezes constantly every season , he has sneezed like that his whole life. He'll probably sneeze once every 5 or 10 minutes. He doesn't have abnormal looking nasal discharge or anything. I'm not overly concerned about it, but I just wanted to ask some of your fellow pug owners if your dogs sneeze like this too.
