  • What is the better university for engineering? UW or WSU?

I am torn between going to WSU and the UW to study mechanical engineering. Both universities offer mechatronics (which I want to specialize in), and both have unique facilities for engineers. I was wondering if engineers in the Northwest could tell me which school produces better engineers, or which school provides a broader education.

  • What is the benefit of Christianity?

I've always wondered what the benefit of religion is (particularly Christianity) so I'm asking this question towards Christians, but really it's a question that could be applied to all religions. How is Christianity good? Does the Bible teach us morals? What about the parts where it says it's acceptable to sell your child into slavery, or your daughters into sexual slavery? If you can say that's not good, then you have your own ideals of morals without even needing to open the book. Does it teach you to be a good person? Not really, since most of the Old Testament and parts of the New Testament talk about different conditions in which it is okay to kill people. Is the Bible a holy book, proof that God exists? If that's the case, why does it have more information on when to sacrifice animals than anything that is really important, like mathematics or ways to combat cancer? Why does the book have nothing in it that couldn't be written by just some normal person?
