Brucker's 9th and Sibelius's 7th...which is the greater symphony...everyone likes Schubert's 8th, don't they? Sibelius' drank too much to complete his work, which is a masterpiece, in C major...full of those majestic but tragic trombones....still, it is hard to not think Bruckner, even if you find him long winded, as Brahms did, might have the perfect "unfinished" but let me hear your opinions....thanks!
