I'm trying to install Ubuntu 14.04 onto my computer running windows 7. I get to the install screen but then the screen goes black and this message appears..

BuzyBox V1.15.3 (Ubuntu 1:1.15.3-1ubuntu5) built-in shell (ash)

(initramfs) unable to find a medium containing a live file system.

This happens from both a live and purchased cd and from a usb stick ( I followed the instructions to create the stick to the letter)

any assistance would be greatly appreciated

I'm running windows 7 and I have a Toshiba regza as the monitor but lately it goes blank and a no signal message appears even when the screen saver is operating. This seems to have appeared with in the last month up to then it was fine.I had to return it back to factory defaults. This annoying glitch has only just started.

Any ideas ?

Our church has a computer that we use for our worship. We either plug it into an amp if using a live singer and CD or use audio files on the computer or just for projecting overheads via projector. Can I attach a sound board so the operator can have full control ? we use a program called easy worship we can also add audio files so we can have music and the overheads playing simultaneously and plugged into an amp so we have computer plugged into amp and microphones plugged into amp can i also attach a sound board so i can have full control

I have ubuntu 12.10 on my Aspire one happy netbook but it does not recognize my usb floppy drive the drive is recognized by my main computer which runs windows 7 is there any way to fix this problem ?

Every time i try to reply to a post in you tube i get the message error ! please try again I'm logged it and every thing appears ok but I cannot reply or post a reply does any one have any idea what is wrong ?

The message is " can't load resource file cannot run. This also happened in fire fox 4 when I reverted back to Firefox 3.6 I never got this message. Can any one throw some light on this as it is really irritating, but the history does clear
