I have a friend that is planning on going on a trip around the world, making stops in various places. I want to send him a care package before he goes, and I'd like to have some other ideas of items to include. I've already got travel size toiletries, a tote to hold the toiletries, different candies and snacks, a journal, and a pen that won't leak during flights. Any other ideas?

Alpha 1 or Beta 1? I know they both increase bp, but which one causes the greatest increase? Thanks!

The tank was only set up about a week ago. A couple of days ago the bamboo shrimp just disappeared completely. The other residents of the tank are 2 dwarf gouramis and 2 mollies. I figure there would be something left over if the shrimp molted or was eaten. Is there any other explanation?

Our house was vandalized, and we have a large amount of clothing that has a small amount of paint damage. I hate to just trash all of it as it is still wearable. Are there organizations that would accept this clothing for the people that truly need it?

I contacted a local breeder by email, informing them that I was interested in their puppies and the time frame for the purchase, along with some other details. I asked about upcoming litters, and also if they could provide references. I received a very short reply that really didn't address any of my questions. In the pictures the puppies look healthy and adorable, and I have a co-worker that purchased a dog from them some time ago, and they are happy with their dog. However, I am very put off by this short, impersonal response, especially the lack of references. What should I do?

My hubby and I both have laptops - his uses Windows XP, mine uses Windows Vista. We have a wireless internet connection set up, and have tried to set up file sharing. He can see my computer on his network, and can access files from my computer, but his computer is not showing up on my network. I have tried every suggestion that the help button offers (modifying firewall and Norton, ensuring network discovery is on, modifying properties of the network), but it has gotten me nowhere. Any suggestions?

My two black mollies have white spots all over; one even has a large white place that looks almost like the fish is being nibbled. At first we thought it was Ichthyophthirius, but we've been treating with Quickcure for a week and a half and it's not helping at all. Our other fish (two wagtail platys and two guppies) don't seem to be affected at all. Our two apple snails died, though I'm not sure if it was from what the mollies have or from the Quickcure. Can anyone offer any help?

I am taking HCG injections. The dose is .2 cc two times per week. My period is late, and I need to know how many days I should wait from my last injection so as not to get a false positive. I know it's a long shot, but I'm sure hoping that there is some good-hearted physician or other person that is knowledgeable in this issue that answers questions on this site.

My family and I are moving out of our neighborhood at the end of the month. I need unbiased opinions on reenlisting in the Army. I would go back in as a PFC, either with my previous MOS (56M - Chaplain's Assistant) or as a 68P - Radiology Specialist if it is available. I have a husband and 2 kids, and while I do realize that there is a possibility of deployment, our family's situation would benefit in several ways. Is it worth it? I'd really like to see if anyone can offer some fresh views on the issue. And please no answers from folks just looking to bash the military and/or the war.

It's a Rally D5500ER. We have no instruction manual, and the belts were off when we got it. I think we have the large belt figured out, but the location of the small belt eludes us. Any help would be appreciated.
