There is a dog at an animal shelter near me that I'm very interested in. He's a one year old male lab mix who is not yet neutered. The problem is, I've taken him out a few times, and he pulls very hard at the leash and is extremely energetic. The dog has been in shelters his whole life, so I'm thinking it may be due to him being cooped up so long and am hoping he will calm down a bit if I were to bring him home (and get him neutered). Additionally, he shows very little interest in me, because there is so much else going on at the shelter such as other dogs walking by, things to sniff, etc. I'm wondering if this dog is too independent and hyper for me, and if his personality will change at all once he is home with me and neutered (and gets training). Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't mind an active dog who is slightly independent, just don't want the extremes on both ends, which he seems to display at the shelter.

I never really used to pay attention to my heart rate when I worked out, but after talking to my mom she told me that its really important to keep your heart rate between 60 and 80 percent of your max heart rate while working out, because if you go higher you're burning muscle instead of fat. I'm 19 so my heart rate range is 120-160 bpm. Today when I worked out, I did so much less than I normally do and barely even broke a sweat while doing cardio, yet my rate was an average of about 160. Afterwards, I'm not even that tired. Normally when I worked out my heart rate would easily get to 180 bpm. I'm just looking for an explanation or any suggestions on why this is happening and how I can go about burning fat better?

I want to get a tattoo on the side of my foot...either something like "live like you're dying" (a quote about living life to the fullest) or something that relates to feet such as "keep moving forward". It needs to be short like only a few word any suggestions??

There is a lizard in my garage in naples, florida that is about 6 inches long and has red by its cheeks and underneath its head. Other than that the lizard is brown with a few subtle streaks down its back. Its head is about the same width as the rest of its body. Does anyone know what kind of lizard this could be? i have never seen anything like it before.

im 17 and yesterday along with this morning i had a jelly-like discharge that appeared clear but was mixed with blood so a lot of it was red.
