Physics homework help please?

A proton with an initial speed of 680,000 m/s is brought to rest by an electric field.

What was the potential difference that stopped the proton?

What was the initial kinetic energy of the proton in electron volts?

    a. Work done by electric field W = k.e. of proton K

    q * V = (1/2) * m * v2

    1.6 * 10-19 * V = 0.5 * 1.66 * 10-27 * 8000002

    Potential difference V = 5.31 * 10-16 / 1.6 * 10-19 = 3318.75 V

    b. k.e. of proton in eV = V (numerically) = 3318.75 eV

    Hope that help :)
