To clarify, I’m not talking about debt collectors who are trying to collect on charge offs and such. I’m talking about creditors calling about current, active accounts that are a day or two late.

I’m having an experience with a well-known appliance company. Each time they call, I tell them the date I’ll be making my next payment but they continue to call. I’ve received as many as 10 calls in a day, and although I answer and give them a date (with no history of breaking commitments), they continue to call. I’m told they can’t stop the calls unless I secure my payment arrangement with a posted dated check by phone.

I could understand the excessive calls if I was not answering but I don’t get why they can continue to call (legally) after making contact for arrangements to pay. Why isn’t this form of harassment? My account is only 2 days late

About 2 months ago my friend and I were having girl talk when she said she didn't want to marry her boyfriend because there were several things about him that she didn't like, and she didn't think they got along well enough. Recently I was at work when, lo and behold, she texted me a picture of her engagement ring. It was hard for me to get excited because of all that she'd said about the guy, especially the part about not wanting to marry him.

I congratulated her but I haven't gotten excited at all. She thinks it's because I'm not married but the truth is I think she said yes simply because he asked and not because she really loves him.

Am I wrong or cruel for not being thrilled by the news?

Instead of a verse or two, I m looking for a complete book or at least a full chapters that covers anxiety.

Why are things like cereal, bacon, and pancakes considered breakfast foods while steak and baked potato are considered dinner foods?

Quite a few people in my neighborhood have moved out of their homes and literally someone has moved in overnight. I can only guess they are moving out and renting their homes to other people.

Because it's done so fast and without notice, I can't help but wonder if people are doing this to avoid losing their homes. If that is the case, it's good that they are trying to keep their homes but it bad that they aren't screening the people who are moving into their homes. They aren't using realtors. It is literally an overnight process as if they advertise on Craig's List or something similar. Suddenly you see a different set of cars in the driveway or a different race of people in the yard.

I've heard so many Christians say "Let go and let God," but I've yet to hear specific instructions on how to go about doing it.

It's seems some people understand the lingering effects of rape and other brutal physical traumas, but when the event is purely emotional people are expected to just get over it. Let that go. Let go and let God.

If you have a verbal altercation with a stranger in the grocery store it may only affect you in that moment. But, if you have an nasty altercation (over money) with a family member, co-worker, or anyone else that you have to see again, how do you just let it go?

Does "let go and let God" mean you're supposed to go about interacting with the person as if the altercation never happened?

I don't feel pain while walking or feel anything abnormal when exercising. But, my legs ache when I stand after being seated for a while. Its most noticeable after I've lounged on the couch for a while and when I get out of the car. It's the same ache you'd feel after doing squats.

I've had my blood drawn recently (for unrelated reasons) and every thing was normal. Is this something that comes with age? Could it be caused by wearing high heels everyday?

I'm not talking about the stink of onions or garlic. I'm talking about morning breath all day every day. What if you could see a build up of crud between the teeth to go along with the smell and the person is always talking (often about other people)? Bag breath is horrible when it's due to underlying health issues but it is atrocious when it's due to poor hygiene.😠 Would you say something to your coworker?

While doing yard work, I noticed 2 large ant mounds on the side of my house. I sprinkled granules on the mound to kill the ants, then poked a hole to make ants come out. Surprisingly the ant mounds were completely empty. I sprayed the dirt away with the water hose but can't help but wonder - where are the ants? Are they underground or did they move to someone else's lawn?

I recently had blood work done and all levels were within normal range except my LDL. My total cholesterol was less than 200, but my LDL was 112 so the doctor wants me to do a low cholesterol diet for and then test again in 12 days. Is it necessary to have my cholesterol checked again so soon?

Uterine fibroids are the cause of my anemia. My hemglobin level is at 7. My doctors has presribed iron pills for me to take twice a day.

Is there a way for me to improve my levels through diet?

The pills upset my stomach so if there is a way for me to get the same results through diet, I'd much rather prefer that.

I want my hemo levels to improve but I dont' want to over do it by getting too much iron.

Any suggestions?

My manager is not the strongest leader. She, for whatever reason, does not make firm decisions and will avoid answering direct questions at all cost. This results in lots of inconsistency’s with procedures in the department. She often asks random questions like she's giving a pop quiz but if/when each person responds differently, she won't give us the correct way.

Her style of management drives me bananas but this is the person that gives me raises so giving her constructive feedback may not work in my favor. Of course turnover is high in the department because people would rather leave than speak up.

Would you say something if this was your manager? or What would you do?

I've looked at about 10 questions including my own and have continuously seen an answer labeld as Tips with a hyper link. The link looks weird so I haven't/won't click it. Just wondering the purpose/motive behind the links. Is it just the current date version of a troll?

I've heard many stories and have had some personal experiences where the social circle (family and or friends) seem to click well locally. But, as soon as you hit the road traveling together something goes wrong. The road trip or vacation that is supposed to be fun is where you find out who has issues with whom.
