Guilty

My parents we together for 28 years, and had 4 children before they were married. The only reason they decided to get married at all, was because my mother was ill and they wanted to make sure that once she passed, everything was in order so there was no confusion that my father was more than just a "boyfriend." Their belief was, why do we need a piece of paper and/or a ring to show that we are together. Our love for each other and our family is enough.

I believe that marriage is over rated, especially since everyone thinks it's fine to get married and if it doesn't work you, we'll just get a divorce! Where is the honor (for a lack of a better word) in that?

I had a girls night with some friends from work. We went out to play pool, and I bumped into a guy friend of mine. (I've know this guy my entire life, our parents were friends) He came with some guys friends of his. They got a table next to ours, so we were chatting all night, and there was a little bit of what I thought was harmless flirting since we are both in serious relationships. (mine 8 years, his 3 years) When it was time for me to head home, he offered to walk me to my car. When we got there, I gave him a hug and told him it was nice to see him. Then we were just looking at each other, and he leaned down and kissed me. It was so soft, but passionate. Now I can't stop thinking about him, and why he did it. I feel horrible because I do love my bf, but the kiss was such a turn on. What do I do? Can I still talk to my friend?
