In my experience, when people see no value or evidence in something, they don't continue to pursue them.

These aren't fan boys or conspiracy theorists doing this, they are serious politicians and law makers....they wouldn't waste their time on a fake story.

Like taking care of the poor and the homeless and ensuring equal rights? Making sure people aren't discriminated against? Correct me if I'm wrong, didn't Jesus feed many many people with only a few loaves of bread and some fishes? I must have forgotten the part where he asked to be paid or refused to feed the people that didn't line up with his personal beliefs. I think I skipped over the part where he refused to feed the people that were gay. Now the Religious Right are trying to block minimum wage Increases and affordable healthcare? They are practically besides themselves over Marriage equality? When did they stop caring about people and start using God to justify their own agenda? When did those dirty Liberal Atheists start being better Christians than Christians?

Personally I dont think they do. They want everything to stay as its always been.....but they HAVE to evolve or lose relevance and henceforth revenue. A lot of Older Christians sure hate change.

How do we know the writers of the Bible were being truthful?

Didn't some Christians say he caused the Earthquake on the East Coast a few years ago for the same reason? Why has nothing happened since?

Was watching a Mysteries of the Bible show and Theologians and Bibles scholars say that they don't know the actual names of the writers. and that the Gospels were written by people WAY after the life of Jesus!

So why do Christians say they were written by eye witnesses?

Mandatory prayer doesn't belong in public schools.....but no one is saying that a child can't pray on their own if they want to. Or read a Bible during private reading time. but no one should be forced to go against their own beliefs.

Why do some Christians say they are being persecuted if they can't introduce clearly one sided religious doctrine into government policy? Or change text books to reflect a less historical, more religious view of history?

Why did he command Abraham to sacrifice Issac if he KNEW Abraham would do it?

Why did he test Job if he KNEW Job would do it?

Christians say God is one thing, but the Bible paints him VERY differently. Why would he look for Adam and Eve in the Garden if, according to Christian belief, he KNEW exactly where they were?

That whole Garden of Eden story sounds like a creation myth/Fable anyway.

And why aren't gays put to death like the Bible commands?

Instead of letting Pat Robertson know he's wrong when he says something crazy Christians just throw him under the bus.

Instead of protesting documentaries about a Geocentric universe Christians just ignore it.

Why don't you put the same passion in making sure your faith is followed correctly by fellow Christians that you put into protesting films like Life of Brian or The Last Temptation of Christ?

Whats the limit? Where does the bar end?
