Corrie - Anna & Faye saga.?
If you had a horrid girl like Faye and her father wanted her back, would you jump at the chance?

What is that very tall red building with like a red spiral metal framework running round it just outside the Olympic Arena?
8 AnswersOlympics9 years agoSpeakers for small tv.?
I have just purchased a nice small tv for my kitchen but the only downside is with it being small is that the sound is `tinny`. Would I get a more reasonably better sound if I got a pair of speakers and ran them from the headphone socket? If so would I need a splitter for the socket? (I`m a bit of a dumb blonde on technical stuff)!
5 AnswersTVs1 decade agoDo you think Eastenders is depressing?
I think it is. I prefer Coronation St. Although the plots are very unrealistic sometimes in Coronation St. there is some humour there now again. Eastenders is just aggressive and arguing all the time. Glad I don`t live in Albert Square.
6 AnswersSoap Operas1 decade agoDo you ever look at past loves and still love them even after years?
Probably a question for the older reader! Do you ever for no reason in particular start thinking about the past and remembering what you had with someone years ago even though they have no relevance to present day? Although I am quite happy now my mind sometimes wonders back and the past loves and feelings are always there.
2 AnswersOther - Family & Relationships1 decade agoHave you used crest whitestrips. What `dose` would you recommend for a first time user?
I want to buy some crest whitestrips. Im a bit worried because I have read that it causes sensitivity and pain for some users. Do you think I should start with the lowest dose, crest classic, will I be disappointed with the results, or go up to the crest premium?
1 AnswerDental1 decade agoDo men expect sex too soon?
I recently met a man, by the way Im in my 50`s and he is older. I didn`t look at him and think `wow` but Im not shallow and think its personality that counts and men sometime can grow on you when you get to know them, I know that from experience.
Anyway first date was o.k. had a couple of drinks and I came home on my own. He seemed quite nice, told me he was looking for a relationship and would like to get married which I do believe was true.
Second date, maybe I shouldn`t have but I agreed to go to his house for a meal. He seemed to think I was `his` and was very touchy and feely all night and after the meal came on really strong and would have gone all the way if I had let him but I pushed him away and made light of it.
I didn`t particularly want to but he persuaded me to go to the cinema with him. I called for him in my car (so I had my own transport for safety). As soon as I saw him I told him I felt wary of him because he had come on too strong previously and I wanted to be just friends but all night he was touchy and feely again which really made me cringe. I too like to feel love and affection but how can you feel it for someone you hardly know, what he calls love and affection I would call it sex. He seemed to have had my life mapped out and was planning future dates for us but I was straight and told him I did not want to see him again.
The point is if he had not come on too much I would have felt more at ease with him but because he had he really scared me off, I like to be friends and get to know someone for a while. If anything develops all well and good but then again if it doesn`t at least you can part as friends. I don`t like him one bit now and would never want to see him again.
Even at this age are all men like this? I give up!
3 AnswersSingles & Dating1 decade agoHelp please with noisy bird next door.?
My next door neighbours who moved in about 6 months ago have a very noisy bird. I didn`t want to be petty about a little bird (I don`t know what kind it is) but all I can hear through the wall is constant whistling and tweeting it hardly shuts up but its ok at night though. I think the old guy whose bird it is is teaching it and has some sort of whistle and gives it regular lessons to make matter worse. Gone are the days were I could sit quitely and read a book, I`ve given up and have to have the tv or radio on loud because the noise to really starting to get to me. If its on at normal level I can hear the racket over it.
I think some people with pets are very inconsiderate and just because they are happy to put up with the noise from them they expect everyone else to. I personally to not agree with caged animals.
Should I go next door and complain, not knowing what reception I will get or give as good as I get and play music loud to annoy them?
5 AnswersBirds1 decade agoLoud noisy neighbours?
I am so fed up with my neighbours. I have lived in my home for 30 years and had lovely neighbours who moved into a retirement home two years ago. They sold their house to a private landlord who in turn rented it to a single parent with 4 kids. She is so loud, she continually shouts at the kids, wakes me up in the morning shouting them up.
She now has a boyfriend who live with her and also has four kids who come and stay every weekend, so thats 8 kids next door to me at the weekends. I work full time and so look forward to my time off work to relax. They have a kareoke machine and its any excuse to get it out, I don`t mind if its one of the kids birthdays but the singing (screeching) goes on for hours. They have noisy sex, I was woken at 4.00 in the morning this weekend. I am dreading this summer, you can bet on the first warm day they will have a bq with loud music. I love gardening and used to love sitting and reading in the garden but it now seems like they have first chose on my outdoor activities now.
I have complained and once went round at 1.00 in the morning when their kareoke was blaring out but I ended up feeling intimidated. I feel that they take advantage of me because I am on my own, if my late husband was here he would have put his foot down with them long before now.
I think it is terrible that you can live happily somewhere for years and it is spoilt by new neighbours.
I have contacted the local council but I am worried that if I proceed with a complaint and I wanted to sell my house, would I have to declare that I have a dispute with my neighbours? I feel so fedup with it all that I want to move.
Any suggestions anyone?
