I need help with getting my dog to walk with me properly?
I know this should have been done a while back...but my dog is 3 and she just tugs so much when we are walking in the park. It's not to the point of intolerable, but I just want to know if there is something I can do to make it better. She tugs to the side, she wants to sniff the grass. Sometimes she tugs really hard. I guess the problem is that I used to have a huge yard and so we would play catch and then we moved to a different city and now we do daily walks. Advice please?

4 AnswersFashion & Accessories1 decade agoI need to replace the face plate of my car stereo.?
Some jerk stole my face plate but did not manage to get the cd player itself. I really would like to only replace the face plate but I don't know if it is possible. It's an alpine and it has the Ipod cord hooked in. They didn't steal the ipod cord either. Just the face plate. Awesome.
1 AnswerCar Audio1 decade agoI just need some advice on how to handle a possible transition from long distance relationship to close.?
Hey guys. My boyfriend and I are living far apart right now. He moved to Baltimore in June, while I went and studied abroad to finish my degree. So now I am back and it is time to move along. And we seem to disagree on the point of moving in together. I live in Charlotte and would need to move to Baltimore. I feel like I really want a full on commitment (aka proposal/engagement, etc etc) before I not only move in, but move really far away from my family and friends. I feel like I am making a huge commitment to him by that. I would like the engagement so that we are both committed.
He seems to think I should just move there. He says that moving in is a logical step towards the engagement. I really disagree but I really hate being long distance. We aren't extremely young, we are sort of young, but we are both done with college (graduated) and making our ways into the world.
What kind of advice could you guys give me or just words of wisdom.
If you say something disrespectful and inappropriate, I will report your answer and you will lose your points.

1 AnswerOther - Cars & Transportation1 decade agoAdvice about a trip to Paris?
Hey, my boyfriend and I are planning a trip to Paris. I am studying abroad in Valencia this fall, and my boyfriend and I are planning a trip in early November. We have it so that he'll be coming to Valencia, and then we'll go together to Paris, and he'll either just fly out of Paris back to the US or he'll go back to Valencia with me and fly out of Valencia. (It makes a lot more sense for him to fly back out of Paris).
It just seems like it's getting very complicated with flights and getting there and all, I was wondering if you had any good advice for me.
3 AnswersParis1 decade agoAre there any alternatives to Paris?
Hey, my boyfriend and I are planning a trip to Paris. I'm going to be in Spain studying abroad, and he wants to come to where I will be (Valencia), spend a few days there, and then we will go to Paris, and then come back and fly out of Valencia again. It is getting very expensive and complicated. I was wondering if you could give me advice on how to save money doing this, or possibly, a more affordable alternative.

I'm going to Spain for a semester. I just need words of encouragement.

Would this be a deal breaker for you? Say if you've been dating atleast a year and a half. He didn't have a good excuse in my opinion. We've been broken up, I just can't rationalize it. We got in a huge fight, but I still felt like he should have been there.

6 AnswersDogs1 decade agoHow do Spanish names work?
How do names work in spain? Do the kids take the father's last name, how do middle names get chosen, etc.
For example, if the wife's name is Carmen Sanchez and the husband's name is Jose Ruiz, and they have a child, how would the last name work. Thanks!
3 AnswersOther - Cultures & Groups1 decade agoHow to live the single life?
I know that is a wierd thing to ask, but I have been in a relationship for 3 years, and we just broke up. How do I live now? I'm at the point where I want this, but I just don't know how. Most of our friends are now our couple friends and when we'd go out, we would be together. I just don't want to seclude myself or anything like that.
17 AnswersSingles & Dating1 decade agoWhat to do about a dog that will not stop begging for food?
My roommate has a pitbull/lab mix who begs for food, no matter what it is I am eating. I will say no firmly but she will back up like 5 inches and still sit there and stare. It's sort of a sweet dog otherwise and she's definitely not starving. When my roommate is not in her room, she will scold the dog and the dog will listen to my roommate, but if my roommate is in her room and I'm eating, she will not budge.
I never really see my roommate feed her from the table, but I know she will give the dog a treat now and then (like a chip or piece of popcorn).
What can I do about this besides sticking the dog in her room?
