  • I need help to get rid of my belly fat?

I have been actively exercising since June of last year. I have a routine that I begin at 5am every morning. I do 10 minutes of stretching and warm up that includes 50-75 crunches, then I walk at a moderate 3.5mph on my tread mill for 70-90 minutes. I purchased a rowing machine that I added to the work out about 4 months ago then a month ago I added an elliptical. I was doing 20 minutes of the rowing machine (but have quit using it since I bought the elliptical) And now I am doing 15 minutes on the elliptical in between walking on the treadmill. I break it up so it's like a circuit instead of doing the same thing for a long period of time.

I am very happy with the way I feel and I have gone from a size 14 to a size 8 and couldn't be happier. I am just 4'10 and I weigh 144 pounds and I look better than I have in a long time, but being short really shows off the weight. So my legs are looking fabulous and I have noticed changes in my breasts and just below my breasts to my belly button then watch out I have an apron of flab I can't budge.

I eat a low calorie diet with a lot of vegetable's and very low carbs as well as watching my fat in take and sugars.

I just need to know how to target my lower belly and get it to shrink. I don't have to be flat but I need to get it to be in proportion to the west of my body.

    Thank you in advance.

  • How do I stop my son from misbehaving at school?

First off I do not buy into ADD/AHDA I believe firmly that it's about the right discipline and that with work these things can be overcome. My situation is that my son seems to be a bully at school. He pushes, throws tantrums, wont listen to the teachers, wont always do his work. And at home he does some of the same without the pushing of others.

We work with the teacher on his behavior and discipline him by taking things he likes away like video games, and playing with favorite toys, making him stay in his room, we have tried push up position and withdrawing treats and snacks. We work on a reward system if he gets smileys and stays on green at school and gets in no trouble on the bus he gets rewarded either at the end of the week or instantly. He is 7 and in the 1st grade.

I know I am to blame for some of his behavior problems I wont even say that I'm not. I get tired and give in to him when he has tantrums. Not all the time but some of the times. I am training myself to be better at walking away when he is on the floor whining.

Any idea's would be very helpful and appreciated.

  • I want to lose 10-20 lbs but am blocked?

Last year without even trying I lost 20 lbs! I contribute it to the job I was doing which was very physical and in a hot kitchen with a lot of lifting and stretching. I also cut my calories. I moved on from that job and put 10 lbs back on.

So since February have worked on getting back on track. I continue with 1232 calorie a day diet. Low fat cutting out things like butter, dressings and a lot of condiments. I drink no soda basically water all day long. I eat fruits and veggies and lean meats. I journal all my food on fitness pal. I also walk on my treadmill every morning at 2.5 mph-3.5 mph for anywhere from 60-100 minutes. But I haven't lost anything and this week 7!

I don't think I need to eat more as I am not hungry or weak. I eat to be satisfied. So can anyone out there tell me what else I need to do? I plan on buying an elliptical and stationary bike. I also ride my bike with my kids when the weather permits.

  • How long should I be exercising to make a difference?

I began exercising 6 weeks ago using primarily my treadmill. I walk at 2.5 mph to 3.5 mph for 60-80 minutes every morning. I also work in another 60-80 minutes in the afternoon or evening before bedtime.

I plan on purchasing an elliptical and a stationary bicycle as well to rotate my work out routine for the best impact. But I am not sure if an hour is good enough or if I am doing too little. I want to make an overall health and lifestyle change not just lose some pounds and forget about it. I turned 40 this year and being healthy is very important to me and I want to make the changes and do it the correct way.

  • should I eat before working out?

I wake up at 545am to work out first thing. I walk on the treadmill for 60- 80 minutes. I eat about an hour after working out after I get the kids on the bus and off to school. Is that alright or should I eat before I work out?

  • Is it alright to split up my work out?

I have been walking for 6 weeks now on my treadmill. I do an hour in the morning sometimes it goes up to 80 minutes. But then later on during the day or evening I will squeeze in another hour or more. Is this alright? Will splitting up the workout hinder my ability to slim down?

  • what could cause annoying arm pain?

For the last week I have had an annoying pain my right arm. The pain starts at my shoulder and arm pit and goes to my elbow then to my palm and ends end my finger tips. I can not make a fist with out pain or stretch without pain. It feels as if I have struck my elbow on something but I have not. Pain killers work for a period of time but then the pain comes back in the morning. I thought I may have been sleeping on it wrong but now the pain is creeping up at night as well.

  • Legalities of rules against wading pools but not ponds?

Ok I live in a small mobile home community. There is a rule of no wading pools for children for the reason's of safety and standing water that attract mosquito's. You are allowed a pool no deeper than 12 inches and no bigger than 6 foot around. So what blows my mind is that the park allows ponds. My neighbor has a large pond 12 foot wide, 10 foot long and 3 1/2 foot deep. I don't understand how the community can impose a no wading pool for kids restriction but allow a permanent structure such as a pond. The pond has no fence, no gate children can wonder off and get into the pond and drown, it's also not emptied every night which could attract the mosquito's. So if anyone knows if it's just or can be enforced please enlighten me.

  • What is expected after placing an offer or a bid on a home?

I am new to house shopping so I am a little confused. We found a home that's a foreclosure and the asking price is 75,000. The roof needs to be repaired, there's water in the basement, the home is over 100 years old and there are some other repairs needed but there are also many nicer things about the house which made it appealing to us.

So we placed a bid on the home for less than the asking price.

My question is since it's a foreclosure and bank owned how would the process go? What should I expect as far as a counter offer would go? In this market would it be likely that the bank would simply want to dump the house and sell it to the anyone making an offer? The house is new to the market and hasn't been listed even a month yet.

Thanks for any advice or information at this point.

  • What so great about marriage?

I have been married for 10 years today and I have yet to answer that 1 question. I think that marriage is a giant joke that just ends up being a burden in the long run.

For legalities and religious purposes I get the whole thing and of course society also dictates that you should be married to live a moral healthy existence. But I don't see where it has made my life easier or better after all these years. I love my children and I am so grateful to have them but I could have had children single or just dating my husband so marriage wasn't an end all to the greater good of having a family.

So aside from insurance legalities and death legalities what is the great thing about marriage that people just have to do it?

Can breast cancer occur or be detected below the breast on say the rib cage area under the breast? And does the lump cause tenderness like a bruising feeling? I used to know these answers I thought but somehow now I'm a blank. I have looked it up on Web MD and it doesn't say. I also am not ready to call the doc so just looking to see if I'm over reacting right now.

  • How to gracefully back out of a wedding?

I need help or advice. My daughter and I have been asked to be in a wedding of a family member. My dilemma is that financially we just can't afford it. I accepted last year and when things were better for my family but now things have changed and the savings I did have is now gone. I asked my mom is she could help with the dresses and she said she could. My mom also said that she was pretty sure that the dresses wouldn't be real expensive because the bride and other members in the wedding were also having financial problems and couldn't afford much.

So today I find out that the dress is $150 and the wrap is $30 not including taxes or the dress for my daughter who is suppose to be the flower girl. And the dresses have to be ordered so it can't be purchased on a lay away plan. I am freaking out and my blood pressure is racing this is too much money to ask from my mom and I wasn't expecting such a costly dress. Possibly if I could have paid over time it would be alright but it can't be.

How can I handle this to make it all right. I amconsideringg asking if I could possibly leave my daughter in as flower girl and maybe participate as a hostess.

  • Does anyone know repossession laws or rules?

Someone recently told me that if you at least attempt to make payment on loans or debts that the items can't be repossessed is this true? Like if you make partial payments on a house or auto loan can they take the property?

I'm not sure if this person is correct and I am not having luck with research. It's just informational more than anything to see if this person is telling the truth.
