I am a huge fan of Donnie Yen. His dedication to realism in his martial arts movies really revolutionized Asian cinema as well as the Action movie genre. I train in Tae Kwon Do at Master Park's School Of Tae Kwon Do. Currently I hold an Purple Belt. I embrace the philosophies of many martial artists including, Jon Jones and Bruce Lee, into my everyday life. Purpose of joining Yahoo Answers: Giving back to society by providing solutions as well as personal input. Quotes by Bruce lee: - "Mistakes are always forgivable, if one has the courage to admit them." - "I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times." - "The key to immortality is first living a life worth remembering."

  • Will Robin take up Batman's cowl after the Dark Knight Rises? Predictions/ Thoughts?

Near the end of DKR, Officer Blake ( Robin) was traversing through the very caves Batman used to train and plan his operations. I think there might be a possibility of a spin-off featuring Officer Blake as Night wing. What do you guys think?

  • Bruce lee vs Gene Bell? Who is the true father of modern mixed martial arts in your opinion?

According to the documentary, I Am Bruce Lee, Bob Wall and Dana White stated that Bruce Lee was mma's initial creator. I however think he is one of the art's the pioneers. In Enter the Dragon, for instance, he used a submission technique similar to the arm bar. What do you guys think?

  • Is the Keysi Fighting Method a legitimate matial art?

I heard it was incorporated in the Batman Trilogy featuring Christian Bale. But Is Keysi unique as everyone thinks it is or just another movie- fu myth? I have watched some demos on you tube, but techniques in KFM are not really explained in detail. It's is kind of effective. I have noticed that elbow strikes are used a lot in KFM. I just want to know if any of you guys think it is effective. Or if it can be explained?

    * I know KFM has just been introduced, so I am keeping an open mind here.

  • Chris Weidman vs Anderson silva? Any Predictions?

I think Chris would have the edge since he is much younger than Silva and holds five straight victories in the UFC against professional fighters. Anderson is not in his prime anymore. For instance, Chael Sonnen managed to knock down Silvia before submitting to a triangle choke in UFC 148. I was hoping Chael would win, so Silva's reign would end. Don't get me wrong, I think Anderson is a spectacular fighter with both mental and physical attributes that compliment him well.

  • I want to join the UFC after college, but my parents despise my choice deeply. What should I do?

I have been a Bruce Lee fan since I was a kid. To me, Bruce is my idol. I have always wanted to be like him, even though imitation is bland. I am currently fifthteen years old with an ambition to bring the dragon back into mma. Every time I watch, I feel as if Chinese fighters are treated as a minority. The only fighter of Chinese descent was Zhang Tiequan. I was deeply upset by his decision to not come back to the UFC after 3 straight losses. He could have been an sensation among the Chinese race. Now there are no asian fighters accept for a few Japanese and koreans. Dont get me wrong, Dong Young Kim is an great fighter with plenty of potential. As a person of chinese descent myself, half chinese - half vietnamese, I feel as if it was to be my destiny to enter the octagon. I know it sounds silly but I am willing to pursue my dream no matter what. I am currently doing tae kwon do. My plan is to earn my black belt in tkd and improve my ground game by taking judo until i get my black belt there. Than I want to study JKD so I can apply his concepts into fights. In college I plan to train in mma and participate in a few amature fights. To be frank, I dont know what to do. I feel as if I have failed Bruce Lee already.
