GSP VS ANDERSON SILVA- Who has a better striking game or advantage?

I would say GSP since he holds a 3rd Dan black belt in Kyokushin kaikan Karate.

Update:

Good Point - Jacob

But GSP may be able to surprise Silva with his super man punch.

Anderson silva has much better striking. GSP has impressive striking but guys are still competitive against him. Silva completely makes his opponents look like amateurs. Okami was so lost against Anderson's striking that he was afraid to even throw at him. GSP really hasn't even used striking lately. Despite his karate background he is probably the best wrestler in MMA. GSPs only chance against silva would be taking him down. In today's world with MMA and such that 3d degree belt has no meaning.

Silva is a far more creative and precise striker. He also has ranks in several striking arts. He's finished more fighters with standing strikes.

At this stage in his career, GSP does about two or three things standing. Silva practically invents new moves.

Who's the last guy GSP knocked out with his standing strikes, Matt Hughes? Silva KO'd Belfort, Griffin, Irvin, Okami, and more.

GSP has never knocked out anyone in his entire career (I think, not sure), and he's been at this awhile. He's stopped people, but that's not the same thing. His main strength is wrestling, getting takedowns, and grinding out decisions. He may have the skills, but he certainly doesn't employ them all that often.
