Have a Carrier 50zh-036-301 electric heatpump outdoor unit, we had the heater on I woke up at like 5am and smelled something burning, like burning wires, I checked all around must of been the carrier unit. Of course I turned it off immediately, later that day went to turn air conditioniner on started for a few seconds shut off, now wont start. fan wont turn on emergency heat nothing. checked fuses with volt-o-meter, replaced breaker, checked for burnt wires couldnt find it. someone said probly thermostat (have a old trane bayostat 239, isnt digital, was working fine for 5months)? anyone any advice appreciated. hate to buy new thermostst and find heatpump unit isnt good.

How to lay sticky square lineoleom over plywood, what to put in between for water sealant?

Is it ok to lay Laminate (woodlookalike) floating floor planks in a bathroom floor? How to install a carrier 50zh 036 301 self contained electric heatpump heating ac unit/where do 2 wires that come out of it go? currently have a old 80s model trane 5ton same thing heatpump unit, but it has 3 gray wires (two go to two separate breaker boxes outside) will need to replace it with the carrier one with 2 wires. can we unhook 3wired trane unit without getting electricuted? how/where when we get the 3wire trane unit off, do we hook up the 2 wire carrier one (all venting will remain the same and is existing)? Our landlords live out of town and we have to mail them the rent, can we mail it on the 1st of the month as long as it's postmarked that would it be considered late, or do we legally have to mail it out a week before the 1st to make sure they receive in thier hands by the 1st? Our landlords recently told us last month about 3days before due that they wanted it asap, and wanted us to western union it to them, and spend about $30+ because they didn't tell us sooner.Thanks for legal answer for Texas. Can they legally call or us every month about a week before to let us know to make sure to put it in the mail, when we never been late on rent? Thanks
