I've been a long time jogger and the wear and tear in my left knee finally got to me. Luckily my right knee is OK. My question is: Is stationary bike riding beneficial as pre-op exercise instead of the six or seven stretching types which are time consuming?

I have a newly built PC which I assembled myself. It starts Ok and runs great however when I start it I don't hear the customary Post Beep. I checked the internal speaker connection and it looked OK. I also decided to replace the Internal Speaker with the new one but still no beep. Do all motherboards normally produce a single short beep at start up? My mobo is an MSI X470 Gaming Pro AM4.

After I shifted to Win 10 from Win 7 I started having problems with my Steam Account and the game itself. Is there a better simpler Flight simulator Game I can load instead. I still have my FSX Gold Edition disc. Can I still load and play that instead?

A few days ago when I tried to start my PC, it won't boot, no "beep" no post, screen remained black although I heard the fans running. I opened it up and found the GPU fan no running. Tested the GPU in another PC and worked OK. Suspected the PSU so I tested with a PSU tester and all checked OK. I installed a different GPU and it worked OK but still no screen. One thing I noticed was that the red CPU LED light was on and remained on. Could the CPU be the problem?

When applying my brakes while slowing down from freeway speeds, I feel a pulsating sensation which seem to come from the rear drum brakes. Once my speed go below 40 MPH, the pulsation disappears. I don't have this problem when stopping from below 40 MPH. The rear brakes don't lock up when I apply brakes at any speed. But it could be that the pulsation while breaking down from high speed is normal.

I m a retired US Naval Officer qualified as OOD on Navy ships. Something is not kosher. The US Navy seemed to quick to accept culpability of the collision. There was an investigation conducted by the Japanese Coast Guard regarding the series of events that lead to the collision which was never published. The US Media seemed to be mum regarding the whole thing. There seemed to be serious violations of the International Rules of the road by one or both ships which led to the collision yet that was not reported by the Navy Investigation. Does anyone have the complete story?

I have a 250G SSD hard drive that is almost full. I m trying to locate files to transfer to another disc. One file in particular is the AMD/Package/Apps & Drivers File using up 5.5Gig memory. What is this file and can I delete or transfer it to another drive.

My eye doctor placed me on Bepreve eye drops plus eye lubricant. My question is she specifically recommended I don't use the Visine Eye lubricant (tetrahydrozaline opthalmic) and only use brands which have "no preservatives". Is there anything wrong with the Visine products and what's the difference regarding with or without preservatives. Most pharmacies carry more varieties of Visine lubricants.

My 1999 Ford Ranger 4.0L XLT with over 197K miles developed a starting problem. Cold or hot at times it will not start after several cranks. However at times it will start right away or after a couple of attempts. But when it starts, the vehicle runs fine at all speeds, that is idles good, no problem at moderate or freeway speeds. One time when it refused to start I squirted some Choke and Intake Cleaner and it started right away. Without spending money for a pressure test I suspect a failing fuel pump, perhaps a failing check valve. Further the vehicle has the original fuel pump. What say you.

No CEL, battery is good and once the vehicle starts it runs great at any speed. No sign of overheating, engine cranks well at start. This phenomenon does not happen all the time. Sometimes the vehicle starts right away, sometimes it takes 2-4 tries and on a few occasions it won't start at all. left for an hour or two, it will start on first try. I checked with a few Ford Truck forums and it was suggested that the check valve in the fuel pump is hanging up, and to try cycling the key on and off a few times. When I do that the vehicle starts most of the time. I'll try treating it with a fuel system cleaner and see if it cures it. If not I may have to replace the fuel pump. Any brand recommendation for a fuel system cleaner such as Techtron, Lucas, STP, etc?

In carbureted engines, during cold starts the choke closes part way and a pump in the carburetor injects fuel to obtain a rich mixture which allows the engine to start easily. What device in the fuel injected engines insure that a rich mixture is obtained during cold starts?
