Our apartment has a few smells in it. One of them is our carpet because it is old. We have shampooed it numerous times. We also have had a mold smell in the past. We also have had mice problems, but we catch those w/traps and we are not the only ones in our apartment with that problem. The reason I ask is because our manager had the nerve to tell my husband that our apartment stunk to no end and refused to come in and help him figure out how to rid of the smell. I am just afraid now CPS will take my child away for smells! thanks.

My daughter has a dental appt to get dental work and they will have to use a general ansthetic on her. My husband is allergic to a certian kind, I'm not so he is afraid it is going to hurt my daughter. We have called the ansthetic people twice, but no return calls. Does anyone on here know?

My husband and I live in a 2 bedroom apartment. His mother lives with us. We want to move again into our own apartment...but his mother keeps saying that she will die and that we hate her if we move by ourselves. I am so freaking pissed. She will not listen to me or my husband. I am about ready to throw her out of the apartment as it is. What can I do?

My daughter is small weight. She is 2 and a half years old and she weighs 25 pounds (she was 29 before but she is sick and has not ate much) She eats like a horse and drinks..she was 6 pounds 9 ozs when she was born. Can kids go through spurts of not gaining weight? I have been accused in the past of not feeding her enough..not enough fluids etc....

At a resturant we went to, when they serve the chips before the meal, they give us a hot salsa and this salad type salsa. It is really good..seasoned with salt and pepper..I just can't think of the name of it and what is in it. I have been wanting it forever! Thanks!

It is like in the center of my stomach, it becomes sharp, lasts for a few seconds, then goes away. It has been happening since last night..and I threw up once. It is driving me crazy and just plain hurts. Any ideas?

My family is on a strict budget..which involves me (I work full-time), my husband (on SSI), his mom (on SSI) and my 2 year old daughter.(also on SSI) We are trying to come up with a basic food staple for our kitchen that won't cost much money. Some things I do have to leave out due to allergies, such as mushrooms. We could use some suggestions though. Thanks so much!!!

My daughter is 2 years old and weighs 25.2 pounds. She is a very healthy girl..her doctor has says so..she is very active and LOVES to eat. I have been getting people thinking that my daughter is starving to death, and that I am neglecting her because of her weight. She has always been a small girl ( 6 pounds 9 ozs at birth) and it gets tiresome getting accused by people of this. What can I do to get it to stop?

My husband and I have been trying to concieve since November 2006. I was on the depo shot after I had my 2 year old in 2005. I only did two rounds and quit. I figured that it was worn out by then and have started trying. Still not pregnant..can the depo mess your body up?

My daughter is DD (developmentally delayed..and yes she was tested for this) and really can't talk much yet. She is almost 2. So, I went and taught her some sign language so I knew when she wanted to eat and if she wanted more. Well, she lets us know when she is hungry. I have overheard people whispering to each other..that "she can hear, why did we teach her that type of crap" What would you tell someone in this situation?

They want tutition for full time kindergarten because the school levy failed. I think that is stupid and the kids are getting punished basically. What do you think?
