  • Acne and Dandruff acting up?

Ok so basically my acne has been very bad for the past few weeks. Its been painful and each bump(pimple/whitehead) lasts for a long time. I haven't changed my skin care routine at all. I sleep with my hair tied up so it doesn't touch my face, I use clean and clear face wash 2x/day (before using I was my hands with antibacterial soap), and I don't wear makeup. Now I have no clue why it is being such a problem at the moment. My scalp has also been very flaky lately, even though I am using head and shoulders shampoo, which is what I have always used. I also have small red patches on my scalp. I don't know if these things are connected or not but they might be.

Do you know what can be causing this and how to solve it? I am currently taking LoEstrin, Lamictal, Vitamin B12, and Prozac. Can the combo of meds have anything to do with this? (note: there hasn't been a change of meds recently). I appreciate your help

  • Why is suicide considered a bad thing?

Ok so basically I don't understand why people think suicide is such a bad thing. First of all, everyone is going to die in the end- that is inevitable. So why not die on your own terms. It is your life after all. personally I would rather die early and not have to deal with all the hardships that come with life. Yes, life has some good things too but i think the bad definitely outweigh the good. And the argument to live life for the good things that may come is completely stupid. Once youre dead, youre dead. You have no clue what you are missing out on- all you are doin is lying in the ground somewhere with maggots eating your body. Its only the people who are still living that know what milestones/ events the dead person is missing. I used to think suicide was the most selfish thing anyone could do but now think that it is way more selfish for other people to expect you to live a miserable life just so that they don't have to feel a little bit guilty.

I would love to hear other people's opinions about this matter because so far no argument I've heard has changed my views.

  • Federalist paper 10 Help Please?

I understand most of the paper until paragraph #8. Here is what it says: No man is allowed to be a judge in his own cause, because his interest would certainly bias his judgment, and, not improbably, corrupt his integrity. With equal, nay with greater reason, a body of men are unfit to be both judges and parties at the same time; yet what are many of the most important acts of legislation, but so many judicial determinations, not indeed concerning the rights of single persons, but concerning the rights of large bodies of citizens? And what are the different classes of legislators but advocates and parties to the causes which they determine? Is a law proposed concerning private debts? It is a question to which the creditors are parties on one side and the debtors on the other. Justice ought to hold the balance between them. Yet the parties are, and must be, themselves the judges; and the most numerous party, or, in other words, the most powerful faction must be expected to prevail. Shall domestic manufactures be encouraged, and in what degree, by restrictions on foreign manufactures? are questions which would be differently decided by the landed and the manufacturing classes, and probably by neither with a sole regard to justice and the public good. The apportionment of taxes on the various descriptions of property is an act which seems to require the most exact impartiality; yet there is, perhaps, no legislative act in which greater opportunity and temptation are given to a predominant party to trample on the rules of justice. Every shilling with which they overburden the inferior number, is a shilling saved to their own pockets.

I am to answer the question "what will factions do to the good of the whole society?"

Is it just that they will be biased? I dont get it! :(

    Please help! Thank you

  • Physician Assistant programs?

I was wondering if there were any programs for Pa s that were included in your first 4years of college...I know that they do this for some masters degrees. like instead of going for an additional 3 years and only getting a masters, you can go for 4 and get both a masters and a Phd. is there anything like this for a physician assistant? Also, would majoring in psychology be a good choice?

  • How does the photograph, migrant mother, remind you of experiences you have had?

    http://www.masters-of-photography.com/images/full/...

Q: What does this photograph say about people in general? In what ways does it remind you of people you have known or experiences you have had? You may also write about photographs/paintings you have seen, stories you have read, or television shows you have seen. Use examples to explain your thinking.
