Australian Tax Help - legitimate deductions?
I have just begun a new job.
Casual job - I drive my own car from my house to clients houses (I work in personal care/support) The work office is located in another town (so far not a town a client lives in)
I am wondering if I can claim any of the k's or petrol cost to clients (One of the places work has sent me is over 100 k's - they only reimburse k's when the client is in the car) So far no k's have been reimbursed (as I haven't transported clients anywhere)
Please if you have any ideas let me know...

3 AnswersFamily1 decade agoAsbestos removal is it worth it?
For example, it is house, that has been covered with faxe boards but I am pretty sure asbestos is behind it, there is no insulation. I have read up on the Victorian Australian Guidelines for dealing with it, is it worth removing it or just putting insulation inbetween the vinal boards and the cement sheet?

There have been some questions would you die for your religion - I am Christian I have said yes...
My question "Is murder an option to you because I believe differently to you?"
My concept is - whilst we are still both breathing something can change ...
This will probably not post but if it does... are different beliefs so scary to you that you would do what you could to shut them up?????????????
17 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoFrom Christian POV all are free to answer: What is so easy in this life that makes (details)?
you think eternity would be a free pass?????
(I am asking intrigued from all the questions how can God send people to hell, blah blah...)
Even if you don't believe in eternity you definitely don't like the idea of conditions being placed on entry to paradise....
When was the last time a celebrity invited a mass of "regular" people to a party at their private residence....
This is kind of where I am thinking from but not that shallow... just best option springing to mind as it approaches 3:30itis time...

The Duck & The Devil
There was a little boy visiting his grandparents on their farm. He was given a slingshot to play with out in the woods. He practiced in the woods;but he could never hit the target. Getting a little discouraged, he headed back for dinner.
As he was walking back he saw Grandma's pet duck. Just out of impulse, he let the slingshot fly, hit the duck square in the head and killed it. He was shocked and grieved! In a panic, he hid the dead duck in the wood pile; only to see his sister watching! Sally had seen it all, but she said nothing. After lunch the next day Grandma said, "Sally, let's wash the
dishes.
But Sally said, "Grandma, Johnny told me he wanted to help in the kitchen." Then she whispered to him, "Remember the duck?" So Johnny did the dishes. Later that day, Grandpa asked if the children wanted to go fishing and Grandma said, "I'm sorry but I need Sally to help make supper."
Sally just smiled and said, "Well that's all right because Johnny told me

On Divisions in the Church
Brothers, I could not address you as spiritual but as worldly—mere infants in Christ. I gave you milk, not solid food, for you were not yet ready for it. Indeed, you are still not ready. You are still worldly. For since there is jealousy and quarreling among you, are you not worldly? Are you not acting like mere men? For when one says, "I follow Paul," and another, "I follow Apollos," are you not mere men?
What, after all, is Apollos? And what is Paul? Only servants, through whom you came to believe—as the Lord has assigned to each his task. I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God made it grow. So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow. The man who plants and the man who waters have one purpose, and each will be rewarded according to his own labor. For we are God's fellow workers; you are God's field, God's building 1 COR 3:1-9
10 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoBiblical references for Rapture please?
As when before trib, after trib, during trib?
I know the one about one will be taken the other left (Matthew somewhere), however that could just be when Jesus takes believers for their judgement and then entrance in to heaven????
14 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoHave you learnt to create and maintain passion?
2 Tim 1:6 Fan in to flame the gift of God which is in you.
Tommy Evans knew how to fan in to flame his gift of God until the end....
Tommy Evans at the age of 91 - blind went to His son Andrew Evans for money to plant a church at Tenant Creek... Andrew said no. That did not stop Tommy Evans fervor... saved his pension and used a braile bible to preach the Good News.... that is the passion we need to create in our lives and we need to have a sense of the urgency of time - when you have a deadline you rush to meet it... Caleb at the age of 85 knew he didn't have many years left he asked for his mountain... His passion consumed him to stop him from letting the promise slip away

10 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoIs your subconscience good? (I saw "fight club" with Brad Pitt) and thought it would be a great qns for R&S
I think mine is because I am becoming more and more like Christ all the way through but He has already transformed my Spirit (I am a new creation through Christ Jesus) - so if I totally surrender I will be more like who God intended me to be...
1. If you totally surrender what will you have surrendered too?
2. Your thoughts what do you reckon about my hypothesis?
12 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoNoah had the ark... As testament to God's Word... What do we have... I have some thoughts... what do you think
My thoughts is our "Ark" is our Life... One that resembles the life God intended through the Bible, one that is solid, built well enough to last the storms of life, and stand firm...
Do you think this is a good testament to God's Word, or is there a better way I haven't outlined or possibly thought of...
