I hear so many conflicting answers I have no idea what to believe?

The Freedom From Religion Foundation's small "Imagine No Religion" billboard in Chambersburg, Penn., has inspired not just one, but two, hostile responses! After the billboard was moved last week to its second of three contracted area locations, Kegerreis Outdoor Advertising placed a sign with the slogan "In God We Trust," and a disclaimer: "The previous sign posted at this location does not reflect the values or morals of our company." Late last week, a Virginia-based group called "In God We Trust" placed its own billboard picturing a child in front of a flag, with large lettering

screaming:

"Why Do Atheists Hate America?"

The Freedom From Religion Foundation did not (needless to say) deceive the billboard company's agent or pretend to be a local church! Stay tuned for developments.

The new billboard is in response to the sign, "Imagine No Religion," that was posted before Christmas.

If this statement was true it would serve as a devastating and crushing blow to Christians worldwide. The return of Jesus "Lord of Lords" and "King of Kings" is the main pillar of the entire Christian faith. What would you do if you found out that Jesus really was not returning to earth? Would it change your views or faith in Christianity?

The USA has such a persistient problem of poverty and homelessness. It does not appear it will end anytime soon and it just keeps growing and growing. Should our Goverment do a better job in combating these dibilatating problems?

Question? - In your opinion; who should be responsible for fixing this problem?

Queston? - In your opinion; do you feel like the US Goverment spends to much money on assisting other countries before helping our own citizens?

Question? - In your opinion; do you feel like the people who are homeless and financially broke; did it to themselves and just need to figure it out on their own?

I personally would say It Does Not?

From the first glance on the outside it would be just like church (people gathering), however, there would be distinct differences such as; No infused religion, hoops, policies and proceedures to follow, no pressure of giving 10% of money becuase you may already behind on bills and necessities and so forth. No one telling you suck and that you are a SINNER and unless you follow the prescribed and predetermined route of B-L-A-N-K denomination you will end up if hell.

Just a sincere "Come as you are How you are"! Would anyone else besides me considering doing this?

See, while I do not attend church (Of Any Kind) for reasons not important to this question; As a human being, I do miss the fellowship, gathering and meeting of people on a level that has no agenda. Just hanging out, perhaps drinking a cup of coffee, letting family and kids mix with one another and building a support system all the while having fun.

Bottom Line - It is church with religion; Would You Go?

Basic Overview. 42 yr old male, divorced for 7 years, remarried for 5 1/2. Two Children (Girl 14, Boy 11). Originally had 50/50 custody but the shuffling back and forth between to parents, two homes and to lifestyles proved to be to hard for my kids and regretabally, I did what I thought was best for the kids and agreed without fighting that they would remain at their mom's house as a Full Time Residence.

My Question?

The "Guilt" I feel for my kids? My current wife says get over it after 7 years, but for me it is so vivid and real. What I mean by guilt is; the fact I and my ex turned our children's life upside down through divorce? There is no good that children feel when they are seperated from their parents?

The fact I call my kids everyday (EVERYDAY) it hardly takes the place of giving your children a good night kiss or hug. Maybe I am a sap, however, my kids are a huge part of my life and heart and no matter how hard I try the guilt and pain don't subside? Will It EVER???
