I have a 5 month old baby and I just recently started dating someone. (Me and the baby's father broke up.) Well my new bf is 7 years older than me (I am 20) and he has been talking to me about how he wants kids before he is 30. I wanted to wait at least 4 years for another kid. He is growing extremely impatient with me and it breaks my heart. He seems like if he doesn't get the baby he wants, then he will dump me for someone else willing to be his 'baby mama'. It made me doubt the way he feels about me. I said this time around i want to do things the right way and get married & settle into a house together. He seems to be rushing things and putting me on the spot about having another one. I'm afraid that he is gonna try to get me knocked up now. I dunno who is being the selfish one here...any help?? :(

I have been on the Yaz pill since this past sunday and i noticed that i have been having itching and burning 'down there'. I read that many women can experience different side effects and this was one of them but i was just wondering if i should keep taking them and see what happens or just stop this method of b/c. I called my doc today but she wasn't in.

Ok so last week i was at a regular NST and when the nurse checked my BP, it was quite high...she told me to go to ER across the street and i was of course, a nervous wreck. There, they monitored me and baby in a bed and took a urine sample. They were talking about possible inducing but that didn't happen....so they told me i had mild preeclampsia and sent me home. I then had a regular prenatal checkup and the practitioner told me the residents from ER misdiagnosed me with preeclampsia and that what i really had was hypertension. I was wondering if with hypertension, i wasn't put on any drugs (i hear most women say they took meds for their high BP) and i also am wondering if they will induce me early and if they will have no choice but to give me a c-section. I check my BP at home and it's been pretty good but i still worry...oh, and im also still at work...i don't wanna take my leave until im closer to my due date: 5/21. Any help??

Ok, i am currently 30 wks. & 5 days pregnant with my first baby. My job is a receptionist, so obviously it's nothing too strenuous, so I am still currently working. I was wondering when i should take my maternity leave. (I'm due May 21st.) I take a bus to and from work daily & i don't know when i should leave work. I am in pretty good shape so far and don't have any major health issues that would put me on bedrest. Just curious as to when any other mommies decided to take off from work.

Ok, now i am 30 wks. & 4 days pregnant & whenever someone sees me, they say, "You're ALL baby!" because of the way i am showing...I was thin to begin with & have gained 30 lbs. since my pre-pregnancy weight. The only spot i am gaining is my belly...(tho i did notice my butt got a bit bigger...lol) Anyway, does this in any way have an effect on how i will deliver?? I was wondering if i would have a tougher labor because i'm basically, as everyone is saying, "all baby." Will she be big??

My choice was Layla Rainn but the name Hailee really grew on me!

Ok so i am 28 wks. pregnant and was getting some breakfast today and at the store, i saw a new protein drink called Mix 1. It looked good, it had lots of vitamins and was lime flavored. I grabbed it and then I saw that at the bottom it said Energy Drink. I was wondering if it was the same as the bad energy drinks that us pregnant women are supposed to avoid. On the back it did state that there was no caffeine tho. Anyone know the deal and if it is good or bad for you? Thankxx

ok, i was blowing my nose and i could feel tons of congestion so when i blew it out onto the tissue, i saw traces of black in my snot. (i know gross, TMI...but thats the only way i could describe it.) Someone told me it could have been my black eyeliner? lol...but i think thats just weird. What could this be and im pretty sure its pregnancy related?

Just wondering if anyone saw that. I saw it last night. Supposedly, an elmo toy on the market talks and one of his phrases is his counting: "4,5,6!"

It was kinda silly the big deal they made about it, but i thought it was funny. If it was my kid's toy, i'd just throw it away and not make a big fuss. What would you do?

I hate when fools who aren't even into rock all of a sudden singing songs that are "from rock bank or guitar hero". It pi**es me off because i've always been into classic rock and have been mocked and teased about it because apparently "its too old for my age group"...

Does anyone else see this?? It drives me crazy...i know its petty but it annoys me. :p

*Esp. when i ask em if they know who sings the songs or if they know anything else by that artist.

Ok, as far as i know, it is a religion. I am not jewish tho so i don't kno...lol, but im quite curious.

I always get confused because when there is a discussion about heritage, and people say, "oh, im german & irish, or im native american & italian..." but when a jewish person says, "oh, im jewish.." what do they mean?? I REALLY thought it was just a religion...

Oh, and another example is when ppl say: "oh, he looks jewish..." ??

that people in other countries view the birth of baby girls as a crisis rather than a celebration. They want all boys and yet if that was the case, there would be no more procreation in general! Its really sad...

How are all these girls being killed going to solve anything?? It takes a man & a woman to procreate and yet these countries want to get rid of the girls that will one day make it possible.

i dont know if this is just another weird pregnancy thing, but i like to bite my lip til it bleeds and then lick the blood...haha (embarrasing) :-/

creeps on public transportation don't consider us pregnant women!! I take it to and from work everyday and night and it is a pretty lengthy ride. (almost an hr.)

Since our economy got royally screwed, EVERYONE takes the bus instead of driving. Men are no longer chivalrous and do not give up their seats. Instead they stare at our pregnant protruding bellies with a smirk on their faces. I always give up my seat to the elderly & disabled. Why is it that most people don't give a sh** about us preggo ladies??!!

I am imagining what she will look like and including what eye and hair color. I am golden blonde. I have been blonde all my life. I was born with platinum hair and had white hair until i was 6. It gradually changed to a golden blonde & currently is. My boyfriend has dark brown hair. I am outnumbered when it comes to blondes in the family. My dad was light blonde when he was younger. My mom was always brunette. My sister is brunette and my brother is dark blonde/light brown. His siblings are all brunettes but 2 of them were born blonde. His dad had light brown hair and his mom had dark brown. Is it possible to have a red head? (I had a 2 red headed grandmas)

Ok, now that i am pregnant, it seems everyone that i graduated with that didnt like me or hardly spoke to me are adding me. I think its because they are noosey and want to get into my business cuz they thrive on gossip. Please let me know if anyone else has this problem. It ticks me off cuz i deny them and they keep requesting me. I guess they dont get the hint.

this just suddenly happened for the 1st time 30 min ago...i ate lunch an hour ago so i dunno if that has anything to do with it....im just worried...

I am worried. Before i was pregnant i was 118 lbs. at 5'7''. I am now 17 wks. pregnant and have only gained 2 lbs. (im at 120 now)...I take my prenatal vitamins daily and i eat alot of healthy foods along with the occasional splurging on junk foods. I want to know if this is normal because so far, evrything i read says i should be at least 126 lbs by now.

PS: So far, my doc hasnt said there were any issues with my weight.

I cant get enuff of them! Esp. the really sour kind that burn your tongue!! I know that candy (especially the extra sugary kind) is bad for me and baby but this craving is driving me nuts!! I do have healthy cravings tho....like dairy products & fiber and foods rich in iron & folate. What can i do to curb the unhealthy baby bottle pop craving??
