I have several fruit trees in my back yard and want to keep the birds off the fruit once they start bearing fruit. What are some simple and effective options (if there are any)?

I'm trying to learn Russian and it would really help me to listen to it being spoken correctly. I have only time to listen during my commute in my car so I need to be able to download it in mp3 format.

I would really appreciate if you could respond with direct links to pages that have news mp3s for download. Since I'm listening to it on my commute through heavy traffic 2 hours a day I would really prefer someone with a soothing female voice, but I'm not going to be picky about that.

Wondering about the conservatives out there. Do you prefer our current Neo-Con leadership or would you rather go back to conservative roots and have leaders who Goldwater Conservatives? Would you vote for a Goldwater Conservative over a Neo-Con?

I have a Win2003 Server network using domain, dhcp, active dir, with linksys 18 port 10/100 switch and a dozen winxp pro clients. There is a huge network slowdown around 5 pm causing freezes and slowdowns and occasionally crashes. It doesn't seem to be related to any software we're running as different people use different software. All machines are patched and updated, have top of the line components, and are relatively new. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.
