What happened to these shows? Are they cancelled? Will we ever see new episodes again?

Both shows will return in March to finish out their current seasons.
It will be SG-1's 10th and final season (though there will be two direct to DVD movies to tie everything up). Atlantis will be finishing up its 3rd season and will return for a 4th next summer.
Fans are still pushing for an 11th season of SG-1 in some form or another.

both are coming back around christmas time maybe january... it may be sg-1's last season though. check out sci-fi channels website, they might have more info.
